Re: Continuation from 2.0 forum - No Authorization Code

Re: Continuation from 2.0 forum - No Authorization Code

But I have to enter the user/pass twice each time I login to the forum. Someone mentioned in a thread somewhere to have a forward / at the end of the URL but it didn...

Re: Continuation from 2.0 forum - No Authorization Code

As 2x support has now officially ended you should contact who ever was assisting you by PM to finish off the support for this issue. Kevin, I now have v3.0 installed. I'm wondering if it's possible to setup a password for registering on the forum. I was going to password protect the forum folder on...

OK, I'm understanding now. I installed the MOD code about a year ago, then didn't even use the forum and it took me awhile to figure out what you and Ric were talking about. Completely forgot about the MOD code being installed. Thanks.

Re: No Authorization Code

Have you installed the RAC MOD ? Just reverse the installations instructions if you did. Thanks for the reply, Ric. I'm not understanding what you mean by 'reverse the installation instructions?' Should I put a number sign in front of the code below? Such as.... // RAC MOD Begin #$lang['rac_incorre...

No Authorization Code

I am password protecting my forum and don't need the 'Authorization Code' when someone is registering. How do I disable Authorization Code? I haven't found it in the configuration options. Thanks.

Re: User Posting Sex Pictures - How Do I Stop This?

Visual confirmation as implemented in standard phpbb has long ago been cracked by the bots. There are many spamfighting techniques linked in the Sticky "ReadMe before posting" at the top of this forum, but to cut to the chase, install this MOD: VIP Code MOD You delete users from the ACP, User Admin...

Re: User Posting Sex Pictures - How Do I Stop This?

If you Edit the post, do you see something like http://www.domain.ext/photo.jpg ? No, I have no idea who the user is. I just now put into place having to Enable Visual Confirmation...
