Re: User Blog Mod

How can I make the latest blog post title with a link to the post appear in the signature of the blog owner. This will encourage other members to read blogs more often.

If you have an idea, just post the code here. I'm comfortable with edits.

Thanks in advance. ;)

Re: [DEV]AutoTwitter Topics

Of course, I know you are aware. Just reminding ya' ;) . What I really meant was there's no amount of thread text you can cram into the tweet that will make sense as long as the topic and shortened URL are still there.

Re: [DEV]AutoTwitter Topics

You cannot post a little bit of what was posted because Twitter is just 140 chars.

I'll prefer a bit.ly integration or any other url shortener that adds the url of the topic to the tweet.

Re: User Blog Mod

Is there any way to allow users make blog posts only if they have made a certain number of posts within the forum?

Thanks in advance. Human spammers are really spoiling the blogging fun.

Re: [RC] phpBB Arcade 1.0.RC9

Its funny, On my local server, everything displayed and worked fine before, through an after installing with automod. On my live server, under the automod tab, the link displayed points to the prosilver stye installation XML and not the install.xml, so all it displays are the prosilver edits only. W...

Re: User Blog Mod

Kavee,

Thanks for your help. It worked like a charm.

Can you please edit your second quote? It might piss the mod author off and I don't want to be attributed for it the way it is. :)

Re: Cookie problems on localhost?

@mixstar

I tried that previously. It still gives me problems.

@brf

What about links without SIDs that makes me get logged out when I click them? Thats the most important aspect.

Thanks in advance.

Cookie problems on localhost?

I like to test any new thing such as edits and mod installations on my local server before I push it to the live server. But since installtion, I have noticed that anytime I log in on one tab and I access the board from another tab, I am not logged into the board at the new tab. If I log in on the n...

Re: User Blog Mod

At the moment, guests cannot view the blog. I've checked through the settings in the ACP, but could not find it.

How can I change this setting?

Re: [RC] phpBB Arcade 1.0.RC9

I'm just test installing on my local server and I got a fatal installation error: Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in PATH_TO_FOLDER/index.php on lines 865, 960, 1006, 1064. Those error messages appear above the phpbb logo. Under the logo (in the main content ...

Re: Problem with Automod mod_parser.php

Funny as it may sound, its the Automod on my live site that is broken now. I have not uploaded anything from my local server and I get this error whenever I navigate to automod on my live site: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/pixie/public_html/includes/mod_parser.php on line 668 ...

Re: Problem with Automod mod_parser.php

I started deleting the mods one after the other and it narrowed the problem down to a mod in development: phpbb twitter.

Everything's good now. Thanks for the heads up. ;)

Problem with Automod mod_parser.php

I have installed many mods on my local testing server with automod and everything started looking cluttered. So, I changed the store/mods folder into something else, created a new mods folder and copied some new mods into it. After that, I went to automod and got this error: [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice...
