Re: Problem with add attachments tab

No dinner but no JQuery either, just css placed at the end of content.css in a custom style (so it won't be overwritten).
The nth-child bit was because other .attachbox selectors I tried were hiding the attachment as well.

Re: Problem with add attachments tab

Yes, thank you EA117. Just before returning to read your message it struck me. I removed the 'attachments' text from common.php a few days ago because I was trying to prevent its appearance above forum posted images. I was struggling to do this in css, so resorted to that... Stupid boy. .atta...

Re: Problem with add attachments tab

I guess I should have tried that before posting.

Alas - it has made no difference. I also re-uploaded the styles/all folder, just in case.

The problem is seen on all browsers tested.

Problem with add attachments tab

Hi, On phpBB 3.3.3 and default prosilver style_version 3.3.3 - I have a broken attachment tab ( #attach-panel-tab, .tab) broken-tab.jpg Presumably it's something I've done, because nobody else is having an issue (and displays fine here). Double checked, cleared server and local cache. I'm at a loss....

Re: Styling username login triangle

Thanks,I was using Firefox's code inspector but couldn't find anything which doesn't apply to username and triangle. If I apply display:none to any of these: .username, .dropdown-trigger or .dropdown-toggle, username and triangle disappear. I can't find anything to handle the triangle on its own div...

Styling username login triangle

The little down-pointing triangle to the right of the username login link (navbar_header) is several pixels higher than it should be in my custom style and I'm struggling to find relevant css. (dropdown-trigger and dropdown-toggle classes seem to affect Username and triangle). Can anyone suggest wha...

Re: Newly Registered Users not moving to Registered group

Yes, sorry - I think I should have said, 'not removed from the Newly Registered Users group'.

Thanks for the flag clue. I'll speak to the plugin developer about it.

Newly Registered Users not moving to Registered group

Hi, I wonder if anyone could give me some pointers here... I'm using the latest version of phpBB and I recently set ACP/User Registration Settings/ New member post limit: 1 But Newly Registered Users are remaining in that group, requiring further approval after I've approved their first post. I've c...

I think you meant my suggestion, not 3Di's.
Yes, sorry - I did. And thanks for your further very informative input. I second your request for the EXIF data strip by default.

3Di - is your extension now compatible with phpBB 3.1.0?

Re: Images in a modal window

OK. Your example requires the user to find and click the little eye icon to enlarge the image. Personally I find it quicker, easier and more intuitive to click the image itself for enlargement.

Re: Auto Image Orientation

Reconsidering your suggestion 3Di, I've set max image dimensions to 5000 x 9000. Strangely enough, I implemented your modification of pubupload.php yesterday in order to strip out privacy/security compromising EXIF data in users' photos. Clearly, modifying core files is not ideal, but it works - tha...

Re: Auto Image Orientation

If you have set maximum image dimensions other than the zero for attachments, then this will work: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=15126841#p15126841 Unfortunately, I have to leave it at zero because everyone these days seem to post full-size images direct from their phones (despite...

Re: Auto Image Orientation

Unfortunately this fix no longer applies. The line above is not in the current functions_posting.php
The image orientation issue/bug as described above remains.
