As for others, you'll have to search the internet, I'm sure you'll find tons of them.
Darn, it doesn't let you preview them. :(

GPL/Opensource Smilies?

I'm looking for more smilies, different emoticons other than the default ones for phpbb. What is a good source for this?

Advanced Poll Scoring System?

Hi,

I want to setup a site that allows members to post a topic that automatically has a poll attached. Instead of tallying up counts, I want the score to be a standard deviation based on a time range (the total time being the vote option).

Anybody interested in helping out with this?

Re: Can't customize my overall header and footer

The reason it's causing an error is because the template engine misinterprets the "END" in the above code as actual template engine code. Simply adding ":" after it fixes the issue. :) Wow. That fixed it, thanks very much! Now I just need to figure out why my fonts are no...

Re: Can't customize my overall header and footer

Post your overall_header.html and overall_footer.html. I'm using the prosilver style. I previously made some changes to the colors and fonts, and that worked fine. Here is what I want to upload: overall_header.html <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www....

Can't customize my overall header and footer

Every time I try to add additional html to the header and footer, my forums break. I get back an error that I'm missing an expected }. I'm not changing any of the existing template code - just inserting more html. So what's going on here? Is this some weird caching issue? Are there some weird caveat...

Index php show last topic with Topic ID, not Post ID

I need to change this line in includes/function_display.php: $last_post_url = append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}viewtopic.$phpEx", 'f=' . $row['forum_id_last_post'] . '&p=' . $row['forum_last_post_id']) . '#p' . $row['forum_last_post_id']; Which generates this URL: /forums/viewtopic.php? f...

Re: [RC6] Smartfeed for phpBB 3

I fixed the image issue, I had to disable styles caching for awhile.

Yes, the URL is a smartfeed issue. The RSS generaged by smartfeed contains links in this format:

/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=446&p=2955#p2955

I want them to look like this:

/forums/viewtopic.php?t=446#p2955

Re: [RC6] Smartfeed for phpBB 3

I installed smartfeed for phpbb3, and it seems to be working okay so far. I have 1 trivial issue and 1 request. The mini-feed-icon.gif won't show up. I have verified the CSS and that I can get to the image manually. I have purged my phpbb3 cache, my browser's cache, and even had other people try it....

Redirect from POST to TOPIC page (?p -> ?t)

For the sake of SEO, I have removed from my template any reference to a specific post, such as /forums/viewtopic.php?p=44. Instead, I strictly use ?t=nnn. Unfortunately before I got around to this, Google crawled every url in my forum and now I have hundreds of duplicate pages using ?p=. As long as ...

Thanks for the link, I will contact them and go from there.

But I would suggest that you don't tell people just to google for something, there is a reason why we invented discussion boards. :P

edit:
extremepixels is currently not doing custom work. :(

New Template Wanted

I think it would be nice if this forum had two new topics called "Form Themes Wanted" and "Forum Themes for Sale"... I'm looking to have a template design for me. Anybody interested, please PM me, and let me know your rates. It needs to be a unique template, I'm buying the rights...

Syndicating with RSS

I'm looking for a Topic-centric RSS Syndicator.

I found the mod that generates rss:

http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=144548

But it is Post-centric.

Does one exist?

Specifically the overflow part.

Nope - I'm getting desperate, and I just added that about 30 minutes ago and forgot to take it out when it didn't work.
