Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.1.8 Released

that being the case, the whole point of uploading the vendor folder, for instance, is to replace the files that are inside it with new ones. This exactly is your mistake. Replacing the vendor folder has 3 tasks: "Create" new files Update existing files "Delete" obsoleted files When we deleted a fil...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.1.8 Released

what is the point of all this renaming? you simply upload the new one over the old one. done. Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.1.7-PL1 Released

What about 3.0.13-PL1? The coincidence has been mentioned earlier in this topic. Even its title contained 3.0.7-PL1 at first. ;) 3.0 has reached it's End-of-Life already, so it will not receive any updates anymore. Out of curiousity (as I - and I think a lot of other people - use the Event_List ) h...

Automatically remove inner quotes when the nesting is too deep
How does this work? I've tried it at my own forum but don't see any difference.
Only works for new posts IIRC

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.14 and 3.1.4 Release - Please Update

oh, and so far, you are the only one complaining about this and being "annoyed" by it. ;) so I guess it really isn't such a big problem. it is an inconsistency on our side, which has been fixed and will be dealt different with on future releases. Nothing we need to discuss here anymore, thanks! :ge...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.14 and 3.1.4 Release - Please Update

Thank you for that. Is there a rigorous way through git or somehow to determine it? Maybe we should put this command in wiki or in the docs? The official diff https://gist.github.com/nickvergessen/bc85b09ba7978d3a13c3 is generated with the git command from https://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.p...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.0.14 and 3.1.4 Release - Please Update

I checked a localhost forum and i see it is now changed to the real announcement topic. https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2313941 The topic id is the same, but someone must have mistaken the bo...
