Re: Forum restore - Users can't view board

Apologies, I'm working with a friend here.

I just checked the forum mask on an older user and everything is red.

Re: Forum restore - Users can't view board

Thanks. After checking the one registered users permissions, it says no role assigned, but the group permissions for registered users is standard access. What have I done wrong or what do I need to do in order for individual users permissions to work correctly? I'm feeling really lost at the moment.

Forum restore - Users can't view board

Hello, I've just restored a phpBB3 3.0.0 forum and now users can't view any of the boards, either on the index or when directly linked. The permissons, as far as I can tell, are set correctly for registered users (standard access), yet they can't view them. Newly registered users can view the forums...

CSS post background help

Hello, I'm currently re-themeing my forum to match our new website design using the Prosilver theme as a base, but I've run in to a bit of trouble. I need to add a gradient background fixed to the top of each post (see here ), but despite editing what I thought were the correct bits of the CSS, I en...

Re: 'The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.'

The style has been the same one I've used from the very beginning when 3.0.0 was launched. As I mentioned it's been working absolutely perfectly for so long but has decided to spit this error out now for no obvious reason. :)

'The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.'

Hello, As of last Thursday, we've been getting this error on our forum when either editing a post, changing profile settings, changing administration settings or sending a private message. Nothing at all was changed prior to the error occuring and our themes are up to date, so it's seemingly started...

What MOD is this?

Hello, I apologise if this is in the incorrect section. I wasn't sure where to post it. I'm just wondering if anybody knows what MOD this forum is using? - http://www.busaustralia.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=10 You'll notice that on the post icons there are states of Australia (NSW, SA, VIC etc) that ...

Re: CSS properties help

Thanks for that. The way I see it, the simplest way would be to create a custom CSS property for the UCP. What template files would I have to edit to make the changes? This also affects the profile editing pages, etc.

CSS properties help

Hello,

I wasn't sure where to post this, but could somebody tell me which CSS properties these bits of text belong to on the prosilver template. I'm having a little trouble finding them and need to change the font colour.

Regards,
Alyx

Re: Spammers

Thanks for the suggestions. The title of the thread was something about Seek URL's, or similar. The user had a Gmail address the same as the username, which began with a V. So far this morning I haven't had any more sign up, but if I do, I'll post the details here that may help determine if it's a b...

Spammers

Hi all, This morning, for the first time, a spammer signed up to my board. I haven't had to deal with them since phpBB2. To prevent this happening again, could somebody recommend some mods that may help prevent them signing up? (eg, new captcha, or ask a question on signup where they need to put the...
