Re: check if logged in

I want to modify the template to check if someone is NOT registered, and if they're not display a table that logged-in users will not see. Can someone please show me the code for this?

Re: [BETA] Welcome Mod

Excellent mod. :) Does it have options to have entirely seperate greetings for guests/members? Also, is there the option to remove the personalised greeting based on time of day? That would be great.

Cheers

I'm sorry but I don't understand the point to this mod. phpBB has built in features fending off automatic registration scripts

Re: Apply css across site - problem with SID: sessions

I'd normally try and keep it all simple, too. But you'll only be using two different style sheets. It would be a totally different story if it had to do with your sites headers/footers though :P

Different files, same values

In the prosilver stylesheets, why do colours.css and common.css share the same attributes (namely colours). I'm tempted to just make my own universal.css but figured maybe it's done for a reason.

Re: Apply css across site - problem with SID: sessions

Why don't you just copy the styles file somewhere else and use it like that?

Recognising styles

How do you get phpbb to recognise new styles in the ACP? I've just copied the files of an existing style into a new folder and I'm going to modify them, but the ACP hasn't recognised this new folder. Any help?

I've made a huge mistake

I just rushed in after seeing the RC2 update and downloaded the patched files and uploaded them over the top of my existing ones on the server. I later saw the proper automatic install file and realised I may of made a mistake. Am I correct in assuming so? It's only a test forum so I don't mind dele...

[Request] Custom Header Scenarios

Hey guys. There's a popular mod for another forum where custom headers can be shown at the top of the page for different user scenarios that promote forum use. Here's an example: User isn't registered Header clearly displays: "Hey, you're not registered! Why not join in and register!" Another exampl...

Converting page views into forum users

Hey guys, After testing out a variety of forum software I've settled on PHPBB RC1 and have recently installed the version I intend to use. My site is not even a month old yet but I'm getting anywhere from 100-500 unique hits per day. It's basically just a game fan site, however many other sites have...
