Re: [Beta] AJAX Chat/Shoutbox MOD 2.0.0 Beta 8

Michael: You should be able to include the chat on any page, by adding the following to any templates you would like it to show on. I suggest just putting the following in your overall_footer or overall_header as it requires only one edit, then you would need to remove the following line from your i...

Re: [Beta] AJAX Chat/Shoutbox MOD 2.0.0 Beta 8

I check over my file edits three times and still received the same error message: [phpBB Debug] PHP Notice: in file /includes/functions.php on line 3530: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output s...

Re: Custom BBCodes

Hi, I added the bbc code. The video window and all work ok. But I thought that there was supposed to be a 'youtube' or 'google' button added to the reply post buttons once the code was installed? I followed these instructions... the Display on posting page option allows you to show or hide the butt...

Re: Custom BBCodes

I have solved the save link as problem HTML: <table> <tr> <td title="Download!!" > <a href="{URL}"> </a> </td> </tr> </table> You're missing some tags/markup, I added the corrections above. Also the only reason your rightclick wasn't working in the previous example was because y...

Re: urls issue

or you could try the mod from http://www.phpbb-seo.com/ it is what I use on my site and I think I may have only found 1 bug. However, getting any of the seo mods installed can be a bit of work, so don't think it will be a drop in the hat.

Re: Forum sort order

This is a great mod. I will however make a request that it eventually be able to do this:
http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 5#p4458585

alphabetize sorted topics. This guy was able to do it, but didn't respond to my pm unfortunately.

Re: Custom BBCodes

i do have access to my php.ini file and i created it too the forums just won't recognize the change to it. What he was saying about the php.ini file is that some hosting providers don't allow you to actual register the changes in your php.ini. So if you change your php.ini it won't really matter. H...

Re: Custom BBCodes

if you browse to the file, are you getting a forbidden? If so then your .htaccess file is blocking the embedding of it most likely. look at the .htaccess in the files directory, if it has deny from all, it is probably blocking it. I was able to add this bbcode to my site: <OBJECT CLASSID="clsid...

I would like to create a custom BBcode to embed an mp4 video that I'm hosting off of my own server. I tried this in the appropriate boxes in the ACP and it didn't work: [mp4]{TEXT}[/mp4] and <embed src="{TEXT}" width="460" height="395" wmode="transparent" plu...
