Add me to the list of needing a topic calendar for phpBB3.

Re: [ALPHA] Topic Extraction (news, latest topics etc) - 0.2.3

yeap that worked, Thanks..... but i have a empty cell at the top which i would like to remove Be easier to see with the URL but as far as speculation is concerned, I'd guess you either added additional row/data definitions before the call or there's a null-line being generated by topic_bottom. Try ...

Re: [ALPHA] Topic Extraction (news, latest topics etc) - 0.2.3

Assuming you're just doing topics... In "topic_look" change: echo "<a href='{$topic_link}'>{$topics[$i]['topic_title']}</a><br />"; to echo "<tr><td><a href='{$topic_link}'>{$topics[$i]['topic_title']}</a></td></tr>"; In your HTML/PHP page calling TE, do this: <table> <?php include('./phpbb3/topic_b...

Re: [ALPHA] Topic Extraction (news, latest topics etc) - 0.2.3

Yes, you merely have to change the output HTML to contain the table row & data construct with the table definition happening and concluding before and after.

Re: [DEV] Phoogle (Google) Map

How are close/similar locations represented? Is there anything to denote that there's overlap? (say several folks in the same dorm or something)

Redownloaded, uploaded the specified file above. Same problem, same error.

Edit: Took a bit of doing, but was finally able to get it running.

Re: [BETA] simple acp pm read [1.0.3B]

Having a strange problem with this one... It worked earlier today just fine but after a database restore it shows no PMs, even though PMs are user-accessible, all 2200+ of them. I've tried removing and re-adding the module, just in case, but hasn't seemed to work.

Re: [DEV] phpBB Calendar (alightner/spacedog)

Please stop assuming all people who write code are men... In the English language, when gender is unknown the masculine is used. ...why not just say "Ideally they would just..." when in doubt? Because, again, a specific person not a reference to a general person nor to an ambiguous entity that may ...

Re: [DEV] phpBB Calendar (alightner/spacedog)

Great mod, i certainly will use it. If you decide to turn it into a topic calendar however then i won't use it. I have absolutely no need for a topic calendar. Ideally he'd just add the functionality to optionally tie them to topics, not require it for any/all events created. That way, if you never...

Re: [ALPHA] phpbb3 Calendar

It's in a fresh, newly installed test DB; however, I can't get the table to install in the first place so there's nothing to remove.

What SQL version are you using? (give me a minimum version to grip at my hosting company about)

Re: [ALPHA] phpbb3 Calendar

SQL syntax changes from time to time, which is why I suggested that the php version could be too old. But I don't see why 4.7 would make any difference as to syntax. I understand syntaxes update over time however wouldn't it be the SQL version (4.0.27-standard in my case) that I'd have to be worrie...

Re: [ALPHA] phpbb3 Calendar

I'm not sure you downloaded the version of the calendar you think you have. If you had the cal_install_index.php would have already been placed in the root file already. This error sounds to be caused from installing an older version of the calendar or perhaps you are running an older version of ph...

Re: [DEV] phpBB Calendar (alightner/spacedog)

Sounds like a good idea - I just didn't want it mandatory... I run a board with MANY MANY daily posts, but very few events. Tying the events to the forum caused an unnecessary performance drag when displaying the calendar. I never had any issues with performance with the calendar mod we use(ed) for...
