Re: Stop extra forum alerts for private messages?

I notice someone deleted my jokey double post, which means that at least one person on here understands why being told the same thing twice is annoying. :D

Re: Stop extra forum alerts for private messages?

I really don't get why this exists though. These two icons are literally directly next to each other. It doesn't make sense to have two notifications for one thing any more than it does for me to post the same thing twice for every reply. You see what I mean? :P

Re: Stop extra forum alerts for private messages?

Can you give me a reason why they would want this, because it feels like a deliberate bug.

Stop extra forum alerts for private messages?

Hey there, can anyone tell me if there is a way to stop Phpbb from giving double alerts? Basically: why.jpg That's three private messages, and three notifications about private messages. I like the notification system, and I like the message alert system, in general. But do I really need an alert fr...

Re: [RC] mChat

Oh, just found a minor bug with the mchat tab in the UCP. For some reason the extension isn't adding the 'UCP_CAT_MCHAT' entry so the tab reads 'UCP_CAT_MCHAT'. I've fixed this for my forum, but it would be good to have it fixed in the next update too.

Thanks a lot. Had to delete the whole extension and SQL to start again, but it's working now.

Re: [RC] mChat

Can I set it to default to messages appearing at the bottom? I don't see many takers for the way it works now.

Re: [RC] mChat

For some reason I get this error when I try to set the options for mchat in the extensions tab of the ACP. Can anyone help? I did peviously install the Phpbb 3.0 mod version of this extension, could it be caused by that since the files aren't present anymore? If so, is there a way to set options for...

Forum says tables are missing

Hi, one of my forums has completely gone down and is saying that the table ".phpbbx_ext" doesn't exist. I've checked the database and it's right, the table is gone. I've tried restoring backups with bigdump but it isn't helping. Can anyone help me fix this or have I got to delete the forum and start...

"forum_sessions" sql error occurred while fetching page

Hey there, I just checked in the error log and I've got about two pages of general SQL errors. It's telling me that the /forum_sessions "is marked as crashed and should be repaired [145]" It looks pretty serious. Can anyone help me? I'm not sure what to do. Scrolling down the list of errors I also s...
