Re: Yahoo! SMTP mass e-mail resolution!

I got mail to work on Smallbusiness.Yahoo FINALLY ! Go to "Create & Update", then "PHP/PERL Mail" - this will set the webmaster name. I don't know what this webmaster name did, but I apparently didn't need it-there may be some process on their end from clicking the button. The problem I was having w...

[Request]Login username, board displays realname

I want to use a pilot certificate number for login, but I do not want the certificate number to be displayed by the board anywhere. I added a "realname" field to my user in my database, and I changed what was necessary to make it work for the most part. The board will display "realname" throughout t...

Re: Post sort order

This is sort of a style mod and sort of a mod mod. I don't know where it belongs. I wanted a way to cause a single forum to sort the latest post first while leaving the other forums defaulted to first post first. The available options change the entire board and not a single forum. There is a mod th...

if else statement in template

I want to compare {FORUM_NAME} with a string like "test5". If {FORUM_NAME} == "test5", then do this, else do that. I want this in my posting_editor.html file. I'm open to case statements as well, but I can't even get this to work, and haven't even thought about case yet. I'm not a programmer, just h...

Re: Custom BBCodes Indented Paragraphs

I figured out a way to indent the first line of a paragraph. In the Posting/bbcodes panel: [Tab]{TEXT}[/Tab] <span style="margin-left: {TEXT}px;"></span> You get this, [Tab][/Tab] Enter a number between them that will be a margin measured in pixels. [Tab]35[/Tab] Creates a normal indent. I'm not sur...

Session Cookies and Browser Closing

Is there some way for my phpBB3 site to end the session if the user closes his browser? I don't want a user to close the browser on a public computer without having logged out, and someone else come behind him, open the browser to my site, and continue where my client left off. If it is possible to ...

Adding an "indent" bbcode tag button

I know where the page is to customize bbcodes, and what I want to do is create an indent button. I'm ready to plug in &nbsp; somewhere, but I don't know how.

Re: Adding Images to mass email

When I send mass email, the mail gets sent with a long message at the top that explains every detail of the sending process and says that if this is spam, let the administrator know and gives the usernames involved. Then below all of this is the message that I wanted to send, and my original message...

How Do I Change Received Mass Email Form

I want to change the appearance of the message that members receive in a mass email. At the very least I want to move the spam warning to the bottom of the email. As sidenote,,,I'm using yahoo, and I did find a port ,587, that works. They recommended a 4## that did not work. I didn't test the max li...
