I sent you a PM with a link to the current version so you could see how that works.

Re: I've just bought a rocket theme membership for phpBB3

I don't really see why you're bent on trying to create a license violation where none exists.

Re: I've just bought a rocket theme membership for phpBB3

I'm pretty sure phpBB.com has a lawyer and if they had a problem with people making things that improved their product and selling them, they'd have done something about it.

I'm also reasonably certain this isn't a legal discussion.

Re: Proglass

I answered this question before the board went away, but given what I just read I won't be answering it again.

Re: I've just bought a rocket theme membership for phpBB3

I believe poor understanding of the licensing is one of the reasons we don't see more professional-quality themes and other options for phpBB, which is a shame.

Re: Legalities of running a forum

You really shouldn't be attempting to change a perfectly functional agreement if you can't even understand the reply above you. 1. The defendant must be a "provider or user" of an "interactive computer service." You are running or using a forum or other service that allows more than one person to sa...

Thank you. That is exactly what I was hoping to hear, and I am sure many people are also relieved to have it officially stated. I appreciate your patience with my nagging.

Re: [Discuss] Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen

A .htaccess file would not do anything to prevent what happened here. That was exactly my point. I know it's not your responsibility to keep us same from other software but it does seem a tad reckless, except for config.php is not encryptable as the information is needed in plaintext at some point ...

Re: [Discuss] Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen

Where do I go to whine about the disappearance of every post I made in the week prior to this vandalism? We lost around 24 hours of data not a weeks worth as you are suggesting. Search is currently unavailable which would prevent you from finding your posts. As to whining, there is nowhere. Then I ...

Re: [ ask ] why 255 ?

Even if the phpBB installation was working, it would have displayed an error - the message exceeded 255 characters. The point was basically that why would you need more than 255 characters to tell people the board is not working? there is no need for a book here, just a short message. this is like p...
