Restrict User Account to IP/IP Range

I've recently had an issue with login attempts with our admin accounts and a news posting account with limited permissions (joomla plugin posts to phpbb with this account) and I don't really have a way that I know of to log those failed attempts. Considering proxies limit my success of mitigating th...

Re: [Discuss] We've Upgraded Our Warp Drive

I'm a little shocked at the use of SSDs for the database server. :o Very speedy here atm. :)

Re: [Discuss] A Change in Development Leadership

Thanks for your work. phpbb has done really well as of late. Not sure if it had a lot to do with your interaction, but I'd imagine so. Thanks! :)

Absolute Post Count Reset

Your board's URL: http://forum.elitebastards.com/ Version of phpBB3: 3.0 Was this a fresh install or a(n) update/upgrade/conversion (please be specific)? migration from 2 to one of the RCs and a few upgrades later to gold. Was this an install through your host? Did it myself. MODs you have installed...

If you'll watch sites like www.securiteam.com , you might notice there are many other forum softwares as well as php softwares that get hacked quite a bit. phpBB is just so widespread, it seems like a big thing (which it is I guess). This also makes it a popular target... like apache or windows hack...

I constantly have to work around heavy traffic vs DoS type attacks it seems... as long as your server is hanging in there and performing like you want, I wouldn't worry about it. I do notice slow network performance today though. I did some traces on a few IPs while monitoring packets and found a fe...

Command Injection Protection/Recording

Perhaps there should be a way to record injection attempts with some sort of filter and also block them from ever doing anything. This could be useful for recording which user forms a link with "cmd" in it. It would be wise to also have a display to show how it was used, what command they tried to r...

Works pretty well. No need for a cached image... most definately since it shows users online.

I modified mine to show everyone online instead of just the users.

Is there any way that the image can be cached for a time period... like say every day one is saved? That way people with weaker hosting could save on server load.

Everyone with their admin cp wishes! I was thinking about it. It could be easily done with a list of users you could add or subtract from a list. Or, it may be better to have a list of mods it doesn't effect. For right now, I've got one user being affected by it. // Mods can't edit/delete Adm...
