Re: [REQ] Topic Calendar conversion to phpBB3

Looks like your email finally came through? I have had a few issues with that lately.

Re: Polls in global announcements

Thanks for the reply Mixster, but thats not really the point I am trying to make. For starters, there is no global 'can view polls' permission... There is only a forum by forum permission available for this. The way I understand it, any user that has access to at least one forum should be able to vi...

Polls in global announcements

I have come accross an issue regarding polls in global announcements. When you make a global announcement, it's forum_id is set to 0 - Therefore you cannot apply permissions to it (which is fair enough). However, when you add a poll to it, depending on which forum you view the poll from you may or m...

Re: Manage subscriptions for users

I have a fairly simplistic mod for this - It allows you to set or clear subscriptions via the acp. There are a few limitations: No pagination. It should be fine if you dont have too many users or forums, but if you have lots, you may have to do a lot of scrolling :P. I made this specifically for my ...

Re: phpBB3 forum merger

A couple of little errors fixed. Use winmerge if you want to see the exact differences. <?php /********************************************************/ /* Name: phpBB3 forum merger */ /* Version: 0.0.8 dev */ /* Author: SplitIce */ /* With credits to: TommyTomato, Highway of Life, neomedes, Bobbele...

Re: lock new topic on submit...

I think this should do the trick. It should respect all requirements for locking a topic the normal way, but also allow locking of a new topic as long as the user is registered and has moderator permissions to lock a topic. In posting.php, find: 'S_LOCK_TOPIC_ALLOWED' => (($mode == 'edit' || $mode =...

Re: request for a mod

Do you have a link to the site in that image?
I'm not certain, but the blocks look similar to those of Stargate Portal.
The Macinscott theme has already been ported for this.

Re: Wanted - Warcraft Application Mod

Have you seen this site yet? Take a look at the 'recruitment status' block in the top right.
Also take a look around the site - It uses I think bbDKP. There is some really nice stuff there. Bear in mind they don't have a default theme - I'm not quite sure what theme it is.

Re: phpbb3 calendar.. google??

I believe this is jcc264's calendar mod. This mod was unfortunately abandoned quite some time ago. However, I and a few other modders have been working on a new version of this, which also includes a topic calendar. It is still in development and the current beta version (1.0.0b3+) is pretty stable,...

Re: events_mod

How about a topic calendar mod? It is still in development but is mostly useable already.
It doesn't have the paypal option yet, but this might be a good addon.

Re: The Extent of MODs

The biggest mod I know of is Stargate Portal I've said it before and I'll say it again, +100 sql queries on a page view is just too much. http://rmcgirr83.org/mods/star_gate.jpg Mike has managed to shave a huge chunk off of that query count in the upcoming 0.4.0 release. (I know when you reported t...

Another nice looking hack is bbDKP

The only limits are imagination and programming skills.
Do you have anything particular in mind that you are hoping to achieve?

Re: Event Sign Up mod?

The calendar mod I am working on already has an attendance function built in. You can try it out in the demo on my site. Click the calendar link, post a new event and chek the 'Invite attendees' box. Then when you view the event details, it will show "You are invited to attend this event" where you ...
