Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

I just downloaded build 7100. I look to do a clean re-install, while maintaining Windows XP on the other partition. Until I get a better laptop or a new desktop, I can't go "virtual" very often.

Re: Your opinions on TPB trial (The pirate Bay)

Question: Movie titles like "Wizard of Oz", "Fast and Furious", and even "Dirty Harry" are considered trademarks, right? If copyrights and trademarks fall perfectly in place (depending on which country has such law), maybe that is why these guys are in the hole? I mean, using trademarks in a torrent...

Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

Yeah, I like the Superbar better anyway. It will be a while before I ever go back to Classic.

Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

Windows 7 does maintain the ability for a user to go into a Classic visual style. All you have to do is make sure the "Use small icons" option is checked in the Taskbar properties dialog. I prepared a sample desktop shot that shows the taskbar within Classic view. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/...

Re: Your opinions on TPB trial (The pirate Bay)

This seems to be news to me because I been rarely using the Pirate Bay. And I would not be surprised if isoHunt was next. Here, though, I believe the governments are trying to get something out of the Pirate Bay crew if they can't get "everything."

blueCube 4: planned for Spring 2010

Note: This is a discussion of my past and hopefully my future. Okay, back in 2005, I created a skinned template known as "blueCube." Then as time went by, I changed my identity (and I'm afraid I might have to do it again later on) while re-creating blueCube as Alpha and Betas to the phpBB.com websit...

Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

I would wait until Microsoft does make the Virtual XP feature more stable. I mean, they just started working on it.

Re: phpBB 4 Or Next Version?

It is true that phpBB itself is free when you install it - but phpBB can also be for hardcore graphic artists that seek to make money off of custom and appealing templates they create. I already know at least one example. :)

Invision and vBulletin are cool but can be rip-offs for newbies.

Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

No, SHS, not the Microsoft people. I was talking about underdogs sharing newer builds on various BitTorrent trackers - I figured that's where more problems and mixed opinions arise. For an average user, it pays not to disguise a certain Windows 7 build (actually lying about it) and waste everyone el...

Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

News has been going around about RC builds in the 7100's while a few idiots may have went back and disguised these builds as earlier ones like 7057, 7000, and earlier. I don't know why and I don't know what they do it for (anti-piracy, perhaps? even if Windows beta's and RC's were freeware in the fi...

Re: April 2009: Desktops

Won't find those in the USA. Perhaps it would take hundreds of thousands to buy the car, have it shipped through metal cargo across the Atlantic ocean, and in your possession once it has reached the dock. Furthermore, an expert mechanic may need to temporarily take it apart to look at each part and ...

Re: Windows 7 is behind you! Yawnn...

Same here. My dream computer is a gaming system (desktop) with an Intel Core i7 (hopefully one with x64 architecture) and this version of Windows pre-installed. It won't be long until most major computer companies begin to manufacture these kinds of PC's; and of course PC's on other processors that ...
