Re: Which file inserts text into search tables?

Please anyone? I looked in nearly every file and cannot find it. Why did they make phpBB3 so hard to read compared to phpBB2 which you could use common sense to find anything that you needed.

Which file inserts text into search tables?

Could you please tell me which file inserts data into the phpbb_search_wordlist database table? Since the search_ignore_words.php file isn't used, I plan to create my own script that will not insert words into the search table that are within the words array. Hopefully someone can tell me which file...

Re: [2.0.18] Block Open Proxy Registrants

Question, as a test I used software on my PC called Hide My IP which changes my IP address, and I was able to register on my site even though the Proxy mod is enabled. I even did a check on this IP and it said no proxy servers detected. Wasn't it suppose to detect this IP? I used the IP address: 218...

No one here knows about search ignore words?

I tried searching but didn't really find an answer. So is the search_ignore_words.php functional or was it never completed for phpBB3? When I look in phpmyadmin I see a lot of common words are saved in the search DB table like "and" and such. How can I prevent these common words from the search_igno...

Re: (YOUR SITENAME) Index, change to Forum text?

Ok nevermind I found it. For some reason the first time I did a search for the common.php lang file, it wouldn't locate "Index". I found it this time and replace it and now it displays "forum" instead. Thanks :)

Re: (YOUR SITENAME) Index, change to Forum text?

Thanks, but I am referring to the text that is linked throughout the script. Like in the site navigation that you see in the header and footer here: Board index ‹ phpBB 3.0.x ‹ 3.0.x Support Forum Or on my new forum, which is: Portal ‹ Blah Index ‹ Blah ‹ Blah I would like to replace that Index with...

(YOUR SITENAME) Index, change to Forum text?

Hello, you know how the main forum links always display your site name with the word "Index" at the end? Which file can I edit so instead of:

(YOUR SITENAME) Index

I could change it to:

(YOUR SITENAME) Forum

Thanks :)

Re: Milestone Congratulations

Ah I get it, I thought that it would reward people who had reached 500 posts for the first time and not the forum as a whole. Ok well I may not use it then since some members may actually stop posting if they are close to a milestone mark and wait for someone else to get post 499 so they could post ...

Thanks :) But I am curious, does it display all usernames who have reached their milestone on the history page or is it only limited to one user at a time per line?
