Re: A serious problem with permissions: possible bug in phpBB3

If it works when the board is switched to English, it is an improperly setup imageset, not a bug. But you can explain this: I don't agree with that, because If the user create the topic/post, the images are there . But these images are missing when the post/topic is modified for an administrator or...

Re: A serious problem with permissions: possible bug in phpBB3

My board was PHPB2, I decided to upgrade but I lack the proper knowledge and didn't feel confortable doing it myself. I hired and paid someone I met on the web in other forums that I know he has the proper knowledge. My board is new: it is NOt upgrade. It's a new instalation of phpBB3 3.0.1. The pr...

Re: A serious problem with permissions: possible bug in phpBB3

It wouldnt be a bug. It would be missing images. When you installed the language pack, you did not install all of the language images. I don't agree with that, because If the user create the topic/post, the images are there. But these images are missing when the post/topic is modified for an admini...

Re: A serious problem with permissions

The problem is more complex. The user has got reason. I think, perhaps it's a bug the phphBB3 3.0.1 What's the problem? If the user create a new topic, the user can edit/delete/etc his topic/message, but if the moderator create the message or topic, and next step, the moderador change the name of th...

I created a new user and there is no problem. Perhaps the user who complains that does not work, he hasn't got any idea

Re: A serious problem with permissions

No, they're placed in the registered users group, and the permissions for that group are what the forum uses (by default, users themselves have no permissions assigned, ever, for the most part). Try changing the permissions for the registered users group to be Standard Access for the forums in ques...

Re: A serious problem with permissions

First, thanks for your help It is standard to haqve all permissions denied in the user permissions, because they should be assigned by groups. Yes, I did it, I think (and for forums) What happens if you set the Registered Users group Role to Standard Access? What do you mean? When people is register...

If I look the permissions inside user's forum permissions ("Permisos de foro para los usuarios") and I sel...
