Hmm, wordpad might save with it's own stuff in the file, I'd upload a test to make sure that it doesn't mess up your forum.

Just a suggestion, :D

Also it depends on where your root for your forum is, if you installed in /phpBB2 then the cookie path needs to be that, mine is installed with http://forum.johncfish.com as the root.

You can try HTML Kit from Chami, http://chami.com/ or notetab lite http://notetab.com/ both are free excellent tools. I just checked the new files in both of these, they work fine.

Yes, they are a mess in M$ Winblows Nutspad.....

I seem to remember something about cookies having to do with this, sooo, first check that your cookie path in configuration is correct, and that you have cookies enabled. Another thing it could be, if you have gzip selected, and your host doesn't support gzip. But I don't think that would cause this...

Well, first I would update to phpBB 2.0.4, it's easier before a mod than after.

The mod you want to install is attach_mod_v235.zip ?

It's not a good idea to give out your FTP info, but if you let us know which mod it is, you will probably find someone to walk you through it. One of the reasons you'll find people not willing to use your FTP info is it makes them a mark for anything that goes wrong with your site from then on. Depe...

If it's as simple as just wanting people to be logged in to see it, in templates/subSilver/index_body.tpl put a <!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in --> before what you want to only be visable to logged in viewers, and a <!-- END switch_user_logged_in --> after. So for this, find: <table width="100%" ce...
