Re: Avatars missing

AHA! So where do I find THAT one? This is the entire 3.0.1 zip extracted to Notepad++. I looked at /public_html/download/file.php in the Cpanel and it appears to be the same code as what I find in /public_html/files/phpBB3/download/file.php.

Thanks.

Gordon-

At the top of any forum page to the right of the UCP you should be seeing Restore permissions. Click on that to get back to your own bad self.

Re: Avatars missing

Yes, Lumpy, 3.0.1. Just never got around to updating... partly (mostly?) from fear, truth be told. The file today was from a fresh download of the old 3.0.1. Do ya reckon a straight update to 3.0.4 might solve this issue?

Re: Avatars missing

Does anyone know if there is a benchmark available that I can compare my /download/file.php to?

Thanks.

Re: Avatars missing

Thanks dude but no luck with that here. Glad it worked for you. THIS is interesting-- When the problem of the disappearing avatars started Monday I also realized that subsilver2 was no longer listed in the dropdown box located in Board Preferences in the UCP and ACP. After I uploaded the /download/f...

Re: Avatars missing

It appears that I got the /download/file.php in place. Purged the cache and still nothing. Any new ideas?

Re: Avatars missing

Alright. I re-downloaded 3.0.1, opened it up in Notepad++, and still can't find this darn thing. Can someone indulge this retard once again and explain the path I need to follow?

As always, thanks.

Re: What prog to open, read and edit code

What's the difference between using one of these programs and simply going through my Cpanel to edit the code? (Which is all I know how to do... and it scares me every time! Lol) **Ignorant but learning** the difference is that using that editor in your cpanel can and probably will , corrupt the ph...
