Re: Auto Redirect after post goes to edit post window again

Hmm, I've asked again and they said php/apache needed file permissions to the parent directory/directories as well; you could give that a try. They're not really talkative... If that still doesn't work you could alter the redirect function - I believe there is a line that checks for file_exists(.......

Re: Auto Redirect after post goes to edit post window again

if I'm not mistaken, file_exists('./') should always return true - the directory './' will always exist, no matter what... Edit: just received word that the problem was fixed by the host; it had 'something to do with file permissions'. That's all I know for know; I've asked the host for more informa...

Re: Auto Redirect after post goes to edit post window again

I'm doing some work on a forum and I'm experiencing the same problem, also on IIS. I traced it to the following line in the redirect function in includes/functions.php: if (!$disable_cd_check && !file_exists($pathinfo['dirname'] . '/')) - with some debugging it seems that $pathinfo['dirname'] = '.' ...

Error reporting problem - E_USER_ERROR not displaying

Hi all, A friend of mine has recently moved his forum to a new server, but didn't succeed and asked for my help. I successfully moved the forum, but pages like login, logout, etc, give a blank page. All of these pages should give a trigger_error($message, $_USER_NOTICE); but though it worked on the ...

Re: AutoMOD doesn't touch Styles...

In addition to this: prosilver template changes are only done in cache, and NOT in the filesystem. This is very annoying...

Re: error entering AutoMOD tab

It seems to me that there is a a space and/or a newline before the <? in language/it/acp/mods.php, if so, remove it. the < should be the first token.

Re: 403 Forbidden (When installing)

:D Now I don't see anything when I go to /install_automod_manual.php :lol: Is there a solution? The hack was meant to only add the admin modules. The blank page, without errors is expected. Once you get that you should go to admin and see if the AutoMOD tab exists. Or, as AJD said, wait for an offi...

Re: 403 Forbidden (When installing)

Doesn't really suprise me, when I look at the file. He just got everything from a function.

Replace:

Code: Select all

global $db, $phpbb_root_path, $phpEx;
with:

Code: Select all

$phpEx = 'php';
include('./common.php');
That should do the job.

Re: 403 Forbidden (When installing)

Isn't it an idea to just create an SQL file and give people that can't install that file, so they can?

Re: install not good :S

Assuming it's the same issue he had, I'm having the same issue. My config file already has the DEBUG options working: @define('PHPBB_INSTALLED', true); // @define('DEBUG', true); // @define('DEBUG_EXTRA', true); However when I go to the Install it's simply a blank page. In your file DEBUG and DEBUG...

Can you post the entire error message you get (anything below the "You don't have permission to ...")

Re: AutoMOD doesn't touch Styles...

You're using a style different that prosilver/subsilver2 right? AutoMOD doesn't mod them... Maybe this will work.

Re: Installation Issues

If you are founder, you shouldn't see that in ACP Permissions, but while managing your user account in the ACP.

Is it a phpBB-error or an apache/other webserver error?
