Re: Latest Posts on site home page

Let's see if i understand right. You want a latest 10 active topics, NOT POSTS. Let's get this straight: You must understand the difference between posts and forums. If you would have last 10 posts, that means you would get the latest 10 things that people wrote, EVEN IF THEY ARE IN THE SAME TOPIC. ...

Re: [Request] login box and logged in members on non PHPBB3 page

I forgot to add, there is a little code change that you need to do in phpbb3 (its very very small but i dont remember it till i get to my PC, im on the train atm) so the page redirects back to the page where the login was from. (lets say you login/logout, you want the user to automatically return to...

Re: [Request] login box and logged in members on non PHPBB3 page

If you would like a login box like on my web site (http://www.frozenphoenix.org - look on the right side of the page under User Control), read below. First off, the page is session-integrated with phpbb3. To acheive this you simply need the following code added into the php file (i added mine right ...

Re: Latest Posts on site home page

Here's what i use and it works perfectly fine: Note that this can be done w/o any session integration w/ phpbb3. This code allows you to pull from ONE forum, or MULTIPLE forums, or ALL forums or exclude SOME forums. If you want to parse HTML and/or Smilies paths simply change echo ( with echo str_ir...

Re: Parsing Smilies path...

Ok i figured it out: Using "str_ireplace()"... i changed it to: echo str_ireplace("{smilies_path}","forum/images/smilies/",htmlspecialchars_decode("whatever html code i had here")); That htmlspecialchars_decode(); also helps when pulling to main page if you want to use html :) Here's the completed r...

[Request] Memberlist with multiple user management.

For example, when pulling up memberlist.php, have a checkbox in front of the users, and depending on who you select, do some action to those users like: Add to grp, delete, ban/unban, activate/deactivate etc. If theres a mod that does this, thats awesome, please let me know, otherwise... Anyone like...

Re: Parsing Smilies path...

Let me explain this better: Since when you post something, it automatically converts the smilies and stores the text in the database like this: <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" title="Razz" /><!-- s:P --> So when i try to pull the text, i need to find a way to replace the...
