Disappearing posts

Ok this has happened around 8 times in the past couple of months.

What happens is when a user posts it shows as the latest post but when you click on it, it isn't there.

The only way to get it back, is to copy the topic it was in then it re appears. Can anyone help?

Hi Mick

Thank you. Im going to get a new uptodate style aswell, i just keep coming accross small things that arent working properly and feel a fresh install would be best.

Can i ask one thing?Could you run through the best backup options

IE
Do i back up from phpbbmyadmin ?
Through the board itself?

Start fresh a board

It seems through various updates there have been things missing which ive only just noticed. Im worried my board isnt at 100%.

What i want to know is there a way to start a fresh without loosing any data IE posts, groups etc etc

Oh ok. Rather than updating the whole thing, what would be the file with the change to add the captcha simplemath to the registration page?

How can i update the style? I dont want to change as not many look like it. Its the Nexus style

Sorry it was the simplemath one. It would have been updated to the version available via here at that time. I cant remember :cry:
