Re: Error 500 after 3.2 Update

php.ini not being supported might be something your host changed. mysqli is a drop-in replacement for mysql so changing to it is not "pushing your luck" but the correct move when upgrading to PHP 7.0 and newer.

Re: Default Password Encryption

phpBB is using the bcrypt hashing algorithm with a default cost factor of 10 since the the release of phpBB 3.1.
phpBB 3.2 will also support increasing the cost factor by overriding the container parameter passwords.driver.bcrypt_cost (something that could for example be done by an extension).

Re: Need help after upgrade... weird shadow around input box?

prosilver does not have a basic.css with the background set to that value. More than likely it's added by an extension.

It sends you to a place where you can log in in the top right corner. Afterwards, you'll be able to see a big blue button saying "Create ticket" that'll allow you to create a ticket. On the create ticket form you can enter anything you'd like to enter. Then again, I'd suggest contacting your site ad...

Re: Where Phpbb screwed up when they came out with the extension vesion

It simply would have been impossible to convert all MODs over to extensions. For starters, those MODs were/are written by their respective owners and not the phpBB team. We've created several tools and topics that should help a lot of moving things over to the extensions system. I think most also ap...

You just happened to notice a minor hiccup that happened while working in the backend. We've stopped Bertie from unplugging random cables now and everything should be back to normal.

Re: Update problem for phpbb 3.2

If you uploaded all files from the phpBB 3.2.0 package then those files should exist. There probably was an issue during uploading those files which prevented all files from being properly uploaded. Make sure to upload all files from the package.

Re: Automatic Update to 3.2.x can't login.

The specified file it's not able to load was added in 3.2. It looks like you didn't upload all phpBB 3.2 files to your board's directory.

Re: Timeour error during update to 3.2

Are you using the FTP file updater to updater your files? In that case you might be affected by a bug that will be resolved in the next release: https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pull/4647

Re: Update to 3.2.0 using Automatic Update

What webserver are you using? If you are using nginx you might need to modify your nginx configuration to support the installer and not redirect to the boards app.php. Take a look at the nginx sample config for 3.2:

Re: Upgrade from 3.1.10 to 3.2 fails

Make sure you uploaded the complete vendor folder from the update package. The error is caused by a dependency that exists in the latest 3.2 vendor folder but not in 3.1's vendor folder.
