Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi, the bridge will bring in the groups from phpBB3 if "post based groups" is set to "yes". By default it's set to "no". After a user has been assigned to the respective group (e.g. "CPG Registered Users") by the bridge the assignment of rights goes the normal way. This means, that this is done by t...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi,

I will provide a new version those days.

IMPORTANT: If you are using a version of phpBB newer than 3.0.0 then you must implement the changes to the files manually! Don't replace a file from 3.0.2 or 3.0.1 with the 3.0.0 files!

Re: PM Problem (notification e-mail repeats over and over)

Hi,

I'm the author of the coppermine bridge.

The only thing it changes in the coding of phpbb3 is that it adds the text "Can administer coppermine gallery" into the language file.

So, from my point of view it seems not really likely that the PM-behaviour is caused by that ...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi,

the redirecting is normal functionality.

It sounds like a cookie-problem. I.e. Coppermine cannot get the cookies set by phpbb3.

Do you use the so-called "canonical hostnames"? Are your forum and your gallery on different domains or are you using subdomains for forum and/or gallery?

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Ok, the entries are looking good. When you click on login in coppermine and you are redirected to phpBB3 and prompted for username and password, which URL is shown in the browser then? Is it as follows or is it something else? http://www.planetsteelers.com/phpBB3/ucp.php?mode=login&redirect=../cpg1....

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi, the redirect path is set with the following line of code in the bridge: $this->redirect_url = relative_paths(basename($_SERVER['PHP_SELF']), $BRIDGE['relative_path_to_config_file'].'config.php'); So, can you please have a look into the table cpgxx_bridge and tell what's in the field "relative_pa...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi, this Mod is only for the integration part of Coppermine with phpBB3. Except from that it doesn't extend the functionality of Coppermine. I would do the change you are asking for directly on the database - it's the table cpgxx_pictures. You have to change owner_id and owner_name ... Regards fornit

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

@gozer_it It took 5 minutes until I realized what your code will do, but that's really a great idea, I must say. :) With respect to security - it may be better if you check the SID by a regular expression, i.e. something like if (!preg_match('/^[a-z0-9]*$/', $sid)) { // don't do anything } else { se...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi Mike,

can you please post the details of that fatal error? Is it a MySQL Error or a message coming from Coppermine or from phpBB3?

It's difficult to guess what the problem is, if you only post that you have an error ;)

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Well, the bridge can only work if it gets the cookies from phpBB3. As far as I know this makes it necessary that both are located on the same domain. It is possible to use subdomains but from my understanding it cannot work if you use completely different domains. But I'm not a cookie specialist. If...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi,

which version do you have installed?

This was a bug in one of the first versions, should work with the actual version of the bridge.

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

@bhoget Yes, it will. For CPG 1.4.xx the Coppermine people are still doing bug fixes or they solve security issues. That's the only reason why the new versions come up. @TanpapaSmurf The cache file for the options is recreated each time you access phpBB3. That's quite normal. Can you please open it ...

Yes, we are currently working on that. If you want to see the results achieved until now, go to http://www.team-andro.eu/phpBB3 Login as user: franzi password: franzi You will see a modified prosilver - then go to http://www.team-andro.eu/coppermine But don't do that with IE6 (we are still working o...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi, yes there is ;) I got this hint from Mike who has had the same issue: 1. Open the file ucp.php (located in the main directory of your phpBB3 installation 2. Around line 96 look for meta_refresh(3, append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}index.$phpEx")); 3. Replace that command by meta_refresh(3, append_si...

Re: [BETA] Bridge Coppermine <-> phpBB3, v0.9.0

Hi David, have you executed the SQL-Statements in phpmyadmin? Please check whether the entries are in your database, i.e. you should get two records if you execute the following statement in phpmyadmin: SELECT * FROM phpbb_acl_options WHERE auth_option LIKE '%cpgadmin'; Can you please try that and r...
