Re: [BETA] Mini Knowledge Base 0.2.10

This is potentially an awesome mod but I'm finding that most of the links on the Knowledge Base pages are wrong for some reason: the file names are being prefixed by 'phpbb_'. If I remove that from the URL manually then it takes me to the right page. You can try it out yourself here: http://apositiv...

Re: Upgrading a heavily modded to phpbb3

Ah, okay. We're rather attached to our super-customized forums right now, so I guess we'll hold off until we absolutely have to upgrade and all the mods we're using are available for phpbb3.

Thanks.

Upgrading a heavily modded board to phpbb3

Not sure if I should really be posting this here but the phpbb2 forums are now locked. My question is: Is it even worth trying to upgrade my heavily modded 2.0.23 forum to version 3? I have dozens of mods installed, several of which have added to or amended the SQL backend. If I try to upgrade to ph...

Re: Everyone can edit/delete other posts

My mistake!

Somehow I had given my Registered Users some Global Administrator and Moderator permissions. I have no idea how that could have happened. I guess the new system just confused me.

Re: Everyone can edit/delete other posts

I am having similar issues. Fortunately, my forums are not 'live' yet, but when I log in under a test account that is by default a member of the Registered Users group, I am able to edit and delete other user's posts and access the Moderators Control Panel and even the Admin Control Panel. By the wa...

Re: keep unread flags

Thanks, I'll try that tomorrow and let you know. ;) Actually, my board members have decided that they don't really miss that link after all now that they have the 'View Unread Posts' link and Unread posts that STAY Unread instead. But if I ever do reinstall the add-on I'll be sure to let you know i...

Re: off-topic: adding back "view posts since last visit" functio

SECOND ALTERNATIVE This adds back the view posts since last visit function, and also adds a link on the index page (right under the view unread posts link) for any user who chooses that option in his profile. Here's the code: # #-----[ SQL ]------------------------------------------------- # ALTER ...

Re:

Manipe, is there any way to add the null vote to the total votes at the bottom? i like the option to not vote, but i would also like to see how many people used the null vote. polls are always a good way to see how many active users a messageboard has. I could work on it. Shouldn't be too hard. Giv...
