Re: Flash Logo

The horribly inelegant way to do that is to edit your (your style's name)/template/overall_header.html file, placing your Flash banner object code where the SITE_LOGO tag is.

Actually, that's the only way I can think of. :P

Re: Thanks for posts

Hey there, Палыч. I installed this on my forum a couple of weeks ago, and found that provided that I read the instructions (specifically, the permissions), everything worked wonderfully.

Thanks for the mod. :)

Thank you for the reply.

Licencing with regard to styles (esp. based off prosilver)

Hi there, My board's been running for about a year, during which I've made fairly heavy modifications to the board style (in addition to adding quite a few of the helpful MODs listed in the MOD database - thanks!). The styles I made were intended only for my own forum; I did not (and still do not) i...

Re: It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image

Hi there, I updated my board from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5 yesterday using the Automatic Updater. For some reason I get the "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image" error now. I'm uncertain as to whether it's been like this since the update, or whether it's been like this for a...

Re: [BETA] Cash Mod 1.0.0 Beta 1

I installed it, and its working. Two questions. Where in the ACP do I edit it? And it's not showing up in my member's profiles or posts. There are instructions for that in the install file. Right at the bottom, there are DIY instructions for adding the module to the ACP. Check them out. ;) Go, Hand...

Re: Custom BBCodes

The only alternative would be to use a css spoiler rather than javascript. But someone would need to right one. I think I wrote one, but it doesn't do exactly what that one does. I use a CSS one on my site. Less fuss, and very easy, but it (obviously) won't hide text if the person has CSS disabled....

It does, from what I can see. :? Unless what I'm seeing is a cached image, which it shouldn't be.

This is what should appear:

Re: Custom BBCodes

Hi there. :) Photobucket automatically generates thumbnails for the images you upload, and prefixes the file name with a "th_". Photobucket can automatically generate the thumbnail links for forums for you, but a lot of people don't seem to have that set, and they post large versions of im...

Re: PHP flags

I still have no idea why the Master setting would say on, while my Local setting says off, and I'd love to know how I might change the local setting.

PHP flags

Hi there. In the PHP Information panel (ACP > System > PHP Information), it showed that register_globals was set to (ON/ON) and allow_url_fopen was set to (OFF/ON) (Local/Master). I managed to turn register_globals off in the .htaccess file. But if confuses me that the Master setting for allow_url_f...

Re: SQL Error mysql4; errno 12; OS-dependent bug 1135

Thanks. A screenshot of the error has been forwarded to the host. The strange thing is we shouldn't be out of memory, as it's a relatively tiny forum, only a few months old with only about 70 members, and we haven't even used up a fraction of the space we should have available. Anyhow, I'll post if ...

Re: Moderator Stickying

That's a bit of a pity, considering Global announcements end up showing in places where the moderator doesn't have rights to create announcements. Perhaps it should be changed in a future update to make global announcements have a different setting to forum announcements so you can set the permissio...
