Change your Q&A to something the spambots cant possibly see... for example: A word wihin an image thats unique to your site..

Its worked for me..no spam accounts since ive updated the Q&A

I know its early days but setting my Q&A to what word is in my forums banner pic has so far worked.

We only ever have admin activation so we were just spammed with accounts rather than posts... hopefully the new Q&A will solve the problem.

I too am being bombarded with spam accounts.. have currently disabled registration.

As suggested I will try ask for word from an image on the main page

Hi thx for the reply.. not exactly sure what you mean.

Do I just add AhrefsBot as a name to the group.. I have already changed the permissions of forum so bots have no access at anytime but im still getting 50-60 constantly viewing the forum

This is not a mod request so hope its ok to post here. Is it possible to create a forum but give it no name..instead use a forum image to identify it.... Currently I can get away with a simple . (dot) but would prefer if I didnt have to do that... Edit: Maybe should of posted this is support section...

Ok its just happened again on my forum where a previously deleted member has seemed to bump a post, though I must of disabled or turned off bump topics as I cant bump a topic even as an admin.

If any phpbb guy wants to take a look I can pm you my board and admin access details.
