Re: E-mail problem & How to debug the mail() function ?

There is no server_name setting in ACP e-mail configuration. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I solved the problem this way:

Code: Select all

UPDATE phpbb_config SET config_value = 'mysite.com' WHERE config_name = 'server_name'  ;
but I am not happy with this and looking for more elegant solution.

Re: E-mail problem & How to debug the mail() function ?

Could you explain, please - when you say "reset", do you mean disable/enable sequence ?
(I didn't find "Reset e-mail settings" button)

Thank you.

E-mail problem & How to debug the mail() function ?

I migrated my forum from my lab server to the hosted one, everything works fine except this problem: when mail is sent by the mail() function, the Message-Id in the email header contains my lab server hostname : Message-id: <311f445b1d2cc736970479cf018347eb@mylabhost.no-ip.org> When looked into incl...

How to switch template store from Database to Filesystem?

When I modified one of my templates via the ACP, the templates files were read-only (by mistake) so the modified one was stored in DB. I changed the files permissions and tried to switch to "Filesystem" under ACP>>Styles>>Templates>>Details The error message I've got was: ----------- Information The...

Need a procedure to dump templates to files

Gurus,
could you help me: I need to dump my modified (or all of them) templates from DB to files.
I guess MySQL select query can do the job.

Thanks!

How to put templates back to files?

When I modified one of my templates first time, the template file wasn't writable so my changes went to the DB.
I changed permissions of template files but it didn't help, it looks all modifications are stored in DB.
Is there a way (hack is fine) to get back to files as a templates repository?

TIA
