Re: SQL Injection Protection Mod

I'm aware there's other methods of SQL injections... I have DROP permission disabled for the user that's used to access the database. But blocking people from accessing the user_password field at the very least disables people from access password hashes, which would be the hardest thing to recover ...

Re: SQL Injection Protection Mod

To prevent SQL injections on my forum, I personally added a DBAL layer check on all input queries and the source script for the query. If any query attempts to access user_password from a non-allowed page (login, register, etc) it will automatically kill the script. :) It's not an overall prevention...

You can do the exact same thing with my shop, if you're referring to that... Just link to the script using the special_url field in the item setup.

Like my lottery mod? :P
You'd need to adjust it if you didn't want it to just reward points (or manually reward whoever wins)... Or adjust it slightly if you don't want it to cost points to enter.

I would still hope for acceptance... I'm assuming that once the mod is submitted, it will be a lot easier to update the mod. God... I hope so. If I have to keep waiting a month for every time I update the mod (even with small fixes and such)... -_-''

Yeah, my last submission of shop mod was in early December (around December 4th)... It makes progress on my mods really hard. But if it gets rejected this time, I'm just going to keep building it.

<kicks the phpBB verification system for new mods> It's taking a long time for them to accept my mod (a month each time) so everytime there's a problem I have to wait another month for them to check it. :(

I don't believe the suggested fix you posted will work, primarily because of the size of my site. There is over 300,000 (over 150,000 of those are RP, so assume an average of 500 words) posts on the forum and if I enabled a blacklisting of words, it would probably cause a vast majority of words to b...
