Re: [RC] Basic Forum Icon Legend

It looks to me like you missed a file in your installation of the mod. The file you have posted is the posts_legend.html file, not the posts_legend_index.html as you have indicated. There are two files for the template folder. At this point I would ask you to carefully re-read the install.xml file t...

Re: [RC] Basic Forum Icon Legend

That certainly was a deciding factor. Plus there would have been no files for the download if written directly into the template pages, it would've just been a "how-to" article in download form, as there are no other files to add. One could always copy and paste the code into the core template files...

Re: [RC] Basic Forum Icon Legend

Done, written, and submitted. It either was overlooked or they just want to have nothing to do with an icon legend. It was removed for a reason in the first place, after all. I don't really care either way. It was easy enough to figure out, and this mod is here for reference anyway, so it's kind of ...

Re: [RC] Basic Forum Icon Legend

Was this never accepted into the ModDB?? Nope. There was some discussions behind closed doors by the Mod Team, but in the end it was, well, not rejected, but not promoted either. I think the phrase was "...your MOD doesn't qualify as being a MOD, and as such not can be accepted as MOD." I have a hu...

Re: E-mail notification on registration

You are correct that this is not a standard option. There is however a mod for 3.0.4 that works wonderfully; Notify Admin on Registration. I have it installed on by board and can attest that it functions perfectly.

Re: Mini Quick Reply

Hi. i am using my own template but its similar to subsilver2 . thanks. 8-) Sorry to say this, but I think you're out of luck, then. Try reading through this thread , as the Mini Quick Reply is based on Evil's QR mod. I got up to page 86 with no luck before I gave up, so start from there to see if a...

Re: Quotes in page redirect

I've got two options that I can suggest. The first is get rid of the confirmation page after posting with eviL<3's Instant Post Redirect MOD. For the second, I do have a good random quotes code snippet that works perfectly, but you'll have to do some research on where to put it so it shows on the co...

Re: is there mod for

Oops, just re-read your post. Forget the above, and try one of these mods instead. Is that what you were looking for? Simple Topic Description 0.0.2 which can be downloaded from this link . Or try this one. Though abandoned, it seems to still work OK: Multiple Descriptions 1.0.3 . Either version 1.0...

Re: is there mod for

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for, but phpBB3 has forum descriptions built into the viewforum_body and viewtopic_body files. Try this and see if it's what you are looking for. Open styles/prosilver/template/viewforum_body.html Find     <!-- NOTE: remove the style="display: non...

Re: Returning Multidimensional Arrays

Okay, I've gotten this far; the function below will return all the data from the arrays (and into a dropdown for testing). How can I separate the data so I can use each array individually? So that when you select, for example, 'foo' from the dropdown list, the 'text' corresponding to foo will be pas...

Returning Multidimensional Arrays

Here is a two-part extra credit essay question for the php-savvy among you. Part one: I need to return a multidimensional associative array from a Language file to an ACP module, and would like to know the most efficient approach. I am thinking some species of foreach would do it, but am uncertain o...
