Re: Show First Post Only to Guest

Yes, u can replace that line like the install file suggests unless that missing int is necessary for the functioning of another installed mod (but i don't think so).

Let me know if it works.

Re: Show First Post Only to Guest

I think it's probably because of other MODs on viewtopic_body.html - there seems to be quite a lot going on before <!-- END postrow -->. Maybe I need to put the edit higher up within that loop? No, i don't think this is the problem, anyway post here ur viewtopic_body.html but before check your view...

Re: Show First Post Only to Guest

I have a couple of questions. 1) Is this thing ready to be placed on an active forum? 2) Can I change it to 5 posts instead of 1, and if I do will it be optimal? as in will it create a load on the server. Thanks for anyone that can answer this! 1) Yes. 2) You can try to use this change: link . Abou...

Re: phpBB Mood Swings

Hey Xanta, first congrats for this new update ;)

I was wondering why there are two files for the update from 1.0.1 to 1.0.2 version: "1.0.1 to 1.0.2.xml" and "1.0.1 to 1.0.2_EXTRA.xml". What is this last file?

Re: Extend phpBB Breadcrumbs

@magento-developer: Thank u :) I had thought such a thing to render its working similar to that of vB. But to make it requires too many code changes (templates and functions), so i given up. This is a simple MOD and in my opinion, messing up many code lines for a nonessential change isn't a good ide...

Re: Quick Search Box

Today there are more than 20 templates for phpbb and people not only use prosilver or subsilver2. Yes, but i cannot update a mod for more than 20 styles... Anyway, try: FIND: <!-- IF S_DISPLAY_SEARCH --> &#8226; <a href="{U_SEARCH}">{L_SEARCH}</a><!-- ENDIF --> REPLACE WITH: <!-- IF S...

Re: [RC] Extend phpBB Breadcrumbs

The problem is that I don't know what is a postingname... This is a screen of how it should work if there's a subforum: (Click on to enlarge it) http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/8937/breadscreen.th.png In viewtopic, breadcrumbs is: Board index ‹ Your first category ‹ Your first forum ‹ Subforum ‹ ...

produces wrong breadcrumbs. You got the postname after the path, but in front of the area/forum that is the wrong row.

Re: [RC] Extend phpBB Breadcrumbs

Try in this way: OPEN search.php FIND $template->assign_block_vars('navlinks', array( 'FORUM_NAME' => (($search->search_query) ? $search->search_query : $l_search_title), 'U_VIEW_FORUM' => ($u_search)) ); REPLACE WITH if ($mode='egosearch' && !empty($author_id_ary)) { $template->assign_block...
