Re: [ALPHA] Advanced Dungeons & Rabbits (ADR)

Need any help? I would be thrilled to beta test/security test etc. I can PHP code, but not to any decent standard. Great to hear a status update :P Any chance you could give us any information on the db schema? I was just wandering if adr will use the same "long item tables" seen in the te...

Re: To what extent would you protect your site?

Disable right click etc is a bit tight, especially since there are other useful options on there (like bookmark this page) which you defo want in your code. If youre talking view source protection, i saw an insanely simple way of stopping the script kiddies: someone had a warning comment right at th...

Re: PhpBB in 2085

I love Bertie's Transdimensional Atomic Assembler and how it really "brings your forum to live". Before a website had to advertise or sell to make money to live: now we can just eat the spam, whist avoiding trolls :P

Re: [ALPHA] Advanced Dungeons & Rabbits (ADR)

If you want to fix the HP bar yurself, i suggest you find the code for the HP bar in the template and compare it to the other bars I noticed this one too: defo a Template error and not a SQL error: proSilver works fine.

Re: [ALPHA] Advanced Dungeons & Rabbits (ADR)

One gameplay issue i notice is that when pvps go badly for a user, instead of running they just cancel the battle, and the opponent gets no xp. Would it be possible for the winning combatant (ie the one that doesn't cheese it) to get an amount of xp directly proportional to the health level of the f...

Re: [ALPHA] Advanced Dungeons & Rabbits (ADR)

We just have to be patient :P Keep up the good work! And of course, if you want to test what the game is all about, you could always install the phpbb2 version or the dev phpbb3 version on a test forum. This will show you all the features, and you can start planning items and stuff. @Ganon: Will the...

Just a cool thing about styles

Just like to congraulate the team on their amazing styles system. Let me tell you a story... I discovered some amazing looking skins for my website here http://www.phpbb3styles.net/db/ You'll notice the acidTech designs... I wanted to give my users a choice of color when they log in, so I downloaded...

Re: Refreshing template from within the code

I should think there's just some deletion of files going on...
You will need to be paranoid about security though, else hackers may exploit this and delete a full site. This only applys if you are planning on adding "options" for deletion...

Re: phpBB 3 portal

I dion't think phpbb4 will be coming out for a while  It took at least 5 years for PHPBB3's development. Any updates to the software are "patches" (if you want them to be), meaning that you are only changing what needs to be changed. This means you can leave mods on Regarding this, I ...
