Think if it like dominos. When you delete a user many other things fall over as well. Think about... 1. What if the user post was the first post (topic starter)? Then you have to delete the topic, not just the post. So that affects other people's posts. 2. What if another user quoted that user? You...

Well I'm starting to believe that this matter is absolutely impossible since no one seems to know how to do it! Isn't there really any way to delete a user and all the posts made by that same user, with or without a mod?! Hmm... somebody just MUST have encountered the same problem as me before I eve...

Ptirhiik - RPGnet-fr, Well sure I understand your point, no one wants a badly written mod, we would all like to have clean, neat and multifunctional modifications with a lot of features at once and I don't think your great job is a problem at all; you feel like changing the whole script wherever in ...

I also remember a mod being made for that one but then the author stopped suporting it and it had some bad bugs, like when you edited a topic time it did NOT force that topic to move chronologically among the forum topics order according to its new "date".. so basicly it kept its original placing or...

Deleting a user and ALL his/her posts all at once?

Hmm... maybe I'm just being dumb(!) I don't know, but this feature is not possible by default with phpbb, is it? I mean deleting a user just removes the user's registration, while all the posts being made by that user now become visible as made by a "guest". That is not only very ugly, but also in m...

Well Ptirhiik - RPGnet-fr great job indeed again, a brand new mod with a lot of nice functionalities. Even though I always love your work, I also must say, that all the big changes your mods always require to the scripts, for the average user who does not know or understand a lot of php language cod...

Ok;) First of all, I did try the suggestion above by " miraclewhipkey " to set order for different types. I tried to incorporate that into your mod, but something in his mod suggestion seems to be weird since I got very strange problems. I don't know if that depended on the fact that I also have the...

Is this part included in the original MOD installation file or is it something we will have to apply extra? I took a look at the installation text file and could not find it in there.. to me it seems important since without it the special topic type appears on the top of stickies... Or is there a m...

I have it! It took quite a few tweaks, but it works. After applying the original mod (downloaded from the original post), these are the files I changed: posting.php viewforum.php modcp.php includes/functions_post.php and one database change: ALTER TABLE `phpbb_topics` ADD `topic_order_type` TINYINT...

gotnho: Did you make the database change that you're supposed to do? That error message implies and your database is not updated with the new field for the zipcode in the users table. Use phpmyadmin tool for ultering and updating your database: ALTER TABLE phpbb_users ADD user_zipcode VARCHAR (10)

The only thing you can do is that you take away the user's rights for editing posts from the ACP by setting editing posts for every forum to a minimum of mod level. I don'k know of any mods which would first allow a user to edit their posts till a mod would edit the same post and after that not let ...

Wrong, I addressed him to what he was looking for and he jumped at me, so now that became personal. And no, I'm not having a bad day at all, I never have a bad day... But enough about that. A guy with a handful amount of posts who doesn't even seem to know anything about installing mods as it appea...
