Re: tabulated survey at topic head

Mod works very well for me now :) Here is my italian translation 8-) 'ADD_SURVEY_EXPLAIN' => 'Puoi formulare un numero qualsiasi di domande in un questionario. Se lasci vuota una domanda, le domande successive non saranno riconosciute.', 'ADDED_PERMISSIONS' => 'Hai aggiunto con successo al database ...

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

No, i was not aware of the autoinstaller but i'm pretty sure i would have gone for the step by step way anyhow ;) Actually i'm having some more trouble in making the mod work properly, but i want to test it some more time before asking for help again... thanks :)

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

Oddly, the lines that trigger up the blank page are: // start mod tabulated survey at topic head (and end mod too)...added next line $user->add_lang('mods/survey'); in posting.php... the file survey.php is there (in /language/en/mods and in /language/it/mods, since mine is an italian board ) so i c...

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

If you are getting a white page and can't get to your error log, how were you able to pinpoint to that line? Because i've tried to undo every single edit to the file until I got the posting screen back. I then tried to send all edits but that one, and posting still works fine (even though I can't s...

Re: tabulated survey at topic head

First, after I modify the posting.php file, anytime I click "New Topic" on my boards, I'm taken to a blank white page. I confirmed it was the addition of the mod lines by removing them - my functionality came right back. Are you saying that you installed the entire mod and that happened? ...

Re: Convert quoted images to url

Great mod, really one of the most useful I've come across so far, and the video mod works fine too! I'll add more entries for all my embed codes :) Just a minor glitch: this line $replacement = preg_replace('#\\n*\[img\]\n*(.*)\n*\[/img\]\n*\[/url\]#iU', '[ '. $user->lang['I...

Re: Joomla Fireboard Forum to PHPBB

V 0.3 worked like a charm 1st time for me, except for the fact that every ' is now escaped in the post text... should i try V 0.2?

*EDIT: tried 0.2, and it works even better for me, no more escaped carachters! 8-)

Thanks a lot!!! :D

don't get me wrong, i'm absolutely sure that you had thought about it yourself, but liked the other way better... I just guessed that someone else could find it a nice alternative, as I actually do ;)

Re: RSS Feed 2.0

First: everything solved about the issues i had in the beginning ;) I hope you don't mind if I suggest a tiny little modification I find very useful anyway: in the "topics" feed, it makes you jump to the first unread message instead of page 1: In rss.php Find $item_link = append_sid("...

Lock topic at a specified time

Don't ask me why :D but it would be quite handy to me a tool that made me decide the precise hour in which a certain topic will be closed. Is that difficult to achieve? Thanks :)
