I was just browsing and saw this (not trying to hijack the thread). I'm happy someone took it upon themselves to try to fix my past mistakes when I had my long abscence (and still not back, but just bored). A_Jelly_Doughnut keep up the work and if you want feel free to try out my idea about caching ...

What I'm looking for is the ability to mass-delete the thousands of PMs my site has accumulated over the last 4 years. Can this mod do that? It has two mass deletion utilities. One is for deleting sent PMs (a un-needed copy phpBB saves) and another for orphan PMs (people who no longer have an accou...

This work with MySQL 4.x? cause ur Mod list mod doesnt :( This should work with 3.x or 4.x, the same as phpBB. I run 4.1.x on my test machine, so I know it does at least with it. I don't know why the mod list wouldn't work, but I do have to admit it was written before 4.x was in a production usable...

Very doubtfully. I really want to keep it as simple as possible, and I don't really want to do a full rewrite of it until phpBB supports php5.

It got the same problem as the version before. Forums that got the ATTACHMENT MOD installed can't see Files that attached to messages - Maybe there could be an addon for this ?? - Would be bad if people could share anything without knowledge of the ADMINs inside PMs - Working fine for the mo...

[ABD] Admin Private Messages Manager 1.6.0

It would be great if someone running mssql or postgres could test it. I think I have it working on them, but I'm not extremely familiar with them. I also scrapped the attachment mod addition until a later version. I started on it, but I just don't have time currently to go through such a big mod as ...

I don't know about the early 80s (I was like 3 years old), but I remember playing on BBSes a game called Legend of the Red Dragon. I had a blast playing that when I was in Junior High with my friend and we had both just got our own computers :) Anyway, to my point. I don't know of anything out there...

Those lines affect how a user's browser handles the pages...

The worst it could do really is a user will have to manually hit the refresh button on your forum pages to get changes, because their browser is using a cached copy.

You can usually find a list of keywords freely available for each language. If someone wanted to be really savy they would make a txt file of these for each language and add the proper bbcode in. Then when the message is retrieved, it would compile everything containing these keywords with the appro...

Ask if they are running the apache module (assuming it isn't some windows machine or something) as it is better than the gzip php does, so you can leave it disabled and apache zips everything sent automatically. Speedier process by far. Also, all they need to do for gzip in php (phpBB uses this) is ...
