You should set up a local phpBB board and apply the MOD to that one in order to see if it works. Better yet make a local board that is an exact copy of your live board to see if it's compatible with all your other mods. It's really easy and only takes a few minutes to set up. I once submitted a step...

Yes, there's a MOD for that. Check this one out;

Then adding this would probably be useful to you;

It's been a while since I tried it myself but when I did it worked perfectly.

As much as I like hearing your input on this, I have to say that if I wanted to know what a "sticky" was I would have looked it up in the FAQ. If I wanted to post my threads as normal threads... you guessed it, I would have done just that. Like I said, I know it could sound a little wierd ...

Make STICKY behave as normal posts (not stick on top)?

I know this sounds a little wierd, but is there a way of having sticky posts mix in with the other posts on not stick on the top of the forum? Any help is appriciated.

Thanks!

If you view a big picture in fullsize in the pop-up you will still only see a fraction of it. All I want is to have a pop-up window that is re-sizable, but if I understand you correctly this is not something you could do without opening a full new browser window?

I like the fact that signatures are effected by this MOD.

How many people have TEXT [PICTURE] TEXT in their sig? Just tell them not to and you'll be fine!

So did you correct the pop-up window problem yet?

So are you saying you are able to re-size these windows and you have none of these problems?

OK, let's see... First, in FireFox (www.mozilla.com); http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/2384/13gh.jpg As you can see this looks good, as it should. But when you click the thumbnail; http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/8444/28bg.jpg The pop-up picture is actually smaller than the thumbnail and it's n...

Well yeah, old images do not get resized, that's where the speed increase comes from originally... Fair enough, I guess all you have to do is go in and press edit/submit to amend this. the point was for it to be the size, or slightly bigger, than the original picture And I'm telling you it's not. W...

OK, speed is no longer an issue, great! But some new issues have come up; In Internet Exploder ; The pop-up window for pictures are just slightly bigger than the original picture and when you re-size the picture into full size the window doesn't follow it and is not re-sizable, making you see only a...

I'm sorry mate, I just realized I had the 1.1.4 version of this MOD. I did see your above post but somewhere along the line I must've gotten the last version. I will install this new version in a few hours time and do some testing, I promise to get back to you with my impressions. Also, sorry if I s...

Yeah, upon some further testing the performance issues with this MOD is unacceptable. Not only do you have to wait a really long time for the thread to open once you click the link, the picture doesn't load (or get re-sized maybe) until after the thread has opened up. If the extra wait meant the pic...

This was a nice MOD, but it did seem to slow down the board considerably. I'd have to do more testing before I can say for sure, but it's at least noticable. On a side note, I really don't think any MOD that requires messing with SQL DB should be labelled as "easy" although the MOD in ites...
