Godlike, did you get the Anonymous Posting MOD to work based on per-forum permissions? I saw you wrote "NeverMind" in regards to one of your questions, but this does not reveal whether you succeeded in making the MOD functional on a per-forum basis. RickyC, I don't see any errors when I access your...

ok.. first part works.. :) happiness in editing is taking notepad out back and shooting it. one feature req though.. on a thread that has been started by an anonymous poster, should all replies in that thread be treated as anonymous? or rather, have the default condition be anonymous unless the user...

ugh..... so simple, and yet so tricky apparently.. everything from the ACP looks like it should work, but there is no change in the message entry field from the normal screen. What is/are the most likely file(s) to cause this? I have gone through the files, and there are no screen errors.. It's like...

sorry.. i just realized that what i refered to the APC mod is usually meant as the Admin Control Panel. i should know better than to post late at night.. the mod installed is the Advanced user Control Panel. I forget who wrote it off hand. I just PM'd you the user/pwd for a test account. The ...

what's the skinny on the update?

also, i suppose i could download it and look, but do you comment the mod so that when/if it needs to be pulled you can search for something like "TimeslipMod" rather then having to more or less reverse the install steps?

I have the APC mod installed.. does this mod not work at all with it? the header menu shows up, and you can see what is supposed to be a listing of time stamps but you can not add anything to it. no option for the extra data (engine, weight etc etc shows up on new registrations either. It looks like...

i have a minor problem with the poster account that i set up to feed the two news forums i am using. The main post count on the bottom of the screen reflects the correct post count, but the user account does not reduce the post count as posts in the forums are pruned. this means that even though the...

I am by no means a guru, but here are some questions based on the areas that I had issues while setting my board up. are you behind any kind of firewall? What Web server are you using? and have you configured it to allow people other than your local machine to connect to it? have you set the Web ser...

eric: it really does make installing mods (and the subsequent finding them) a LOT easier.. it's saved my butt a couple of times when i could do a file search by content and be able to pick out only those files (and then edit the relevant lines of code). For the few extra steps at the beginning it ma...
