Password reset

I am not really sure if this should come here. I was just curious.. Is it at all possible to REGENERATE the url that is sent to a users E-mail when he tries to reset his password? ( externally - by using a script ) If so how can i prevent my board from being exploited in this manner? :|

Actually, i have a local server installed for testing. So i just go to www directory, open the css file with the text editor, edit the css and save/close it. and it doesnt get applied. But it always works fine when i edit it through the admin CP :arrow: what do you mean by refreshing css and html fi...

I am totally confused! How come when i change the style through the admin CP, it is applied and when i edit the files directly, its NOT! i deleted the files in the cache and refreshed. but there is not change.? I also cleared my browser cookies and cache.

Hai. I have just installed PHPBB3. Gave a great first impression. But i would like to edit the style now. I loved the prosilver, so i ll just edit this. Before I had PHPBB2 installed. it was very easy to edit its styles and the template files were easy to figure out. But here when i opened the theme...

:? Yeah. the unborn was the default group. But i just deleted the group just to be sure, and tried again. There is not much difference. :cry:

WHat have i done wrong? :arrow: i installed it correctly.. but there seems to be some sort of problem. The group color isnt applied to the user. I have grouped the users..

That would be impossible. I mean, if i want to do that i will have to remove the permission of the users to post in the topics so that they wont be bumped up after i rearrange, and i do have a few other admins. is there no other way? ;)

hai.. is there by any chance a way to edit this mod so that it changes the color of users according to ranks? :evil: (rank colors) I have been searching everywhere for it and i cant find anything such. I think this is my best bet.

I have searched everywhere related to phpbb and could find it. -
any body seen a mod that can change color of the user automatically when he changes his rank? so it should be something called rank color i am hoping. ;)

i changed my cookie path and that did something good and something well stupid. Now i can navigate through the forum without getting logged off, and can login from the main page [BUT] I cannot login from the forum :( . I mean from the form in the forum :cry: --------------------edited---------------...
