Re: phpBB Homepage Updated

One thing I have personally found to have grown tired here is the grey background color, to me it doesn't do the rest of the design much justice... I'm not sure whether a dark blue/dark blue gradient would suit phpBB better. How about they replace the grey background with one of Vlad Gerasimov's im...

Re: Opera- why it is not so popular being the coolest

I agree, Opera is a nice looking browser, But i feel i'm glued to firefox for good because of the addons that i use regularly. If Opera supported addons in this way i would love it! Plus im not soo sure on the way operas UI looks, it feels a little tacky to me. I know you can change the theme in OPe...

Re: Free Text Editors

I use Notepad++ but recently i come across WebCipher 2009 this editor has a built in FTP, can do PHP, CSS, and HTML. Its only Alpha 1 but the next release will have a project manager built in too, currently that's disabled.

Re: ohloh versus sourceforge

downloaded phpBB yesterday (again) as i needed a fresh copy of the prosilver style and i was very surprised, took less than a second for phpBB to download, sourceforge used to take a while.

I have to agree about sourceforge's outages and the amount of ads they have being pretty awful.

Re: The Life of phpBB3's Subsilver2 style

There have been a lot of rumors going around that subsilver2 style would be dropped from phpBB3 in the near future. Unless it would be removed from 3.2.0 whenever that is released. But it was Subsilver style in phpBB2 and phpBB3 had it ported as subsilver2 i think. subsilver2 doesn't have anything t...

Great looking style there,
