Re: step plan needed for upgrade from 3.0.5

I think I have solved the issue by changing a board setting from www.handboogforum.nl to test.handboogforum.nl

Re: step plan needed for upgrade from 3.0.5

Hi Oyabun1. Thank you for your reply. I have decided to do a test first. I created a test site but both: www.handboogforum.nl/test/install as wel as test.handboogforum.nl/install revert back to www.handboogforum.nl/install And of course this folder does not exsist. Is this something from phpbb or fr...

Re: one user keeps getting logged out automatically

Hi. Currently I am able to login again with FF. Deleting the cookies with the link helped. I know that I am quiet behind with upgrading phpBB, but I am a little afraid of upgrading, because of all the MOD's that I have installed. I did a test run on a test copy of the board, and it failed completely.

Re: users keep getting logged out automatically

Hi. The problem has widened. Now I can not stay logged in myself with FF. Fortunatly I could log in with IE. I use my work laptop, while at work I had no problem staying logged in using FF. Now I'm at home, same system, but can not stay logged in using FF. I am now logged in with IE (in the ACP), bu...

Re: one user keeps getting logged out automatically

The user has confirmed that Safari is set accept cookies.
And the IP checking has been set to AB.

But still the user keeps getting logged out automatically.

What else can we try?

Would it help to let him try as a different user? (I have a "test" useraccount that I could use for problems)

one user keeps getting logged out automatically

Hi. One of the users on my board reports that he keeps getting logged out of the board, immediately after logging in. According to this user, he has removed cookies and local files and settings, to no avail. He is using Safari, and has only 1 Mac available. What else could we try. Just to make sure:...

phpBB and the EU cookie law - the cookie opt-in regulation

Hi. My question is for the development team. Any thoughts yet on the upcoming EU cookie opt-in regulation? http://www.out-law.com/page-10021 I have not found any better link yet. This could have some major consequenses for sites hosted in the EU. As the cookies are handled by the phpbb3 core, the co...

Re: Support Toolkit RC3 Discussion

Yes it should have been, I didn't think of that specific change. I'll be adding installation and update instructions to the website soon, also for the next release the update instructions will also be included in the install file inside the package. Erik, thanx for quick and excellent support. And ...

Re: Support Toolkit RC3 Discussion

Ah I see what is happening, and that will fix the issue ;). The "make founder" tool has been renamed to "manage founders" because the latest version does more than only make a user founder. Because you've overwritten the old files the old make founder tool is still there but the language file isn't...

Re: Support Toolkit RC3 Discussion

Erik Frèrejean wrote:I can't reproduce this, try removing all the files and than upload the new files into the STK directory.
That would not help, as the intended file is not actually present in the zip.
I just double checked.
