Re: Updating from 3.2.2 to 3.2.3 - Files Yes, Db No

That is nothing to do with phpBB.

Possible reasons - your site has been hacked, your host has added something to your site, you have added something to your site.

Re: Ignore specified forums from statistics

I doubt that many, if any, members would go through the board to manually check the data in the statistics and if they did then I would also doubt that they would be that bothered about it.

If it is such a problem then simply remove the statistics.

Re: Social Network Extension for 3.2?

I think you will need to explain how your definition of "social network" differs from everyone else's as most on here would already consider phpBB as a social network

Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

I guess the best approach would be to actually measure the amount of downloads for the automatic update package against the full package. That may not give an accurate result as some (many?) download the auto package, find they have problems and then download the full package. The real answer is to...

Re: Custom profile field match username

Why not change "Username" to "xbox live gamertag" (or something similar) in the language file? Would that perhaps make it easier?

Any reason why the "Delete all board cookies" doesn't delete the cookie that is set when someone accepts the cookie consent notice?
Because the "Cookie Consent" cookie is a third party cookie and does not conform to the phpBB cookie format.

Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

Like Marc said, we've actually changed this in 3.2.3, so the next version everybody will be told in the ACP that file replacement is the preferred way of updating so that will hopefully cause will problems amongst inexperienced users. The problem I have with completely removing it is that there are...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.2.3 Release

At last i have found the answer to when phpBB will have the next release - when I am away on holiday. Almost every release since 3.1 has occurred when I am away - and no I will not tell anyone when I am next on holiday!!! Well then, guess it's time you retire and go on a holiday every other month. ...
