If I uninstall WP will it remove all of the associated file system folders?
It should do, but not knowing how it was installed it is difficult to say with any degree of certainty.

Re: Problem with private messages

Do you have the problem when you use the default prosilver style?

Also do you have a good reason as to why you have removed the phpBB copyright?

Re: Problem with private messages

Then disable all of your extensions and see if the problem still exists - if it doesn't then re-enable them one at a time until you find the culprit.

No idea - I have never felt the need to find out, but I suspect that it is used a lot more than that in UCP, ACP

Re: Change a little in FAQ?

The FAQ is the easiest thing to modify. If you can recite the ABC's and know how to read and write/type, then really just about anyone can modify the FAQ. Following that runs the risk of having to reapply any changes whenever there is an update/upgrade. Now when you do edit the titles and sentences...

Re: remove install directory (again)

If you have used a package manager to install it then we probably have no idea what the problem is - why not use the files from this site where you can start with the latest version (3.2.2) rather than an older version (3.1.10) which is past eol?
