No idea - I have never felt the need to find out, but I suspect that it is used a lot more than that in UCP, ACP

The FAQ is the easiest thing to modify. If you can recite the ABC's and know how to read and write/type, then really just about anyone can modify the FAQ. Following that runs the risk of having to reapply any changes whenever there is an update/upgrade. Now when you do edit the titles and sentences...

If you have used a package manager to install it then we probably have no idea what the problem is - why not use the files from this site where you can start with the latest version (3.2.2) rather than an older version (3.1.10) which is past eol?

I would ask why?

Yes it can be done but you would need to create some css to do it and then you would have to edit core code to apply it that selector - unless you want it applying yo all number selectors on your board.
