Re: max_questions exceeded SQL error on board conversion phpBB2 to phpBB3

As for software requiring that you do a complete database backup to your local environment in order to perform what appears to be an automated migration tool, well, that should _not_ be standard procedure. It does not necessarily have to be to your local environment - it can be to any other test/de...

Re: Should autoupdate be made impossible for upgrades?

I have said it before, and I will say it again, autoupdate should have died a death when 3.1 was introduced. If it had been done at that stage there would, I suspect, be a lot fewer sites that have core changes and it has also been mentioned that if you are capable of doing core changes then you sho...

Re: max_questions exceeded SQL error on board conversion phpBB2 to phpBB3

You could always do the conversion on your local server and then upload the converted database to your production server

Re: Can I find the phpBB version from the database?

I am trying to restore an old phpbb installation from an SQL backup. Does anyone know if the version number is listed anywhere in the database, so I know which one to download? You will find the version number in the config table with the name "Version". This will only show the version that was upd...

Re: Settings for notified messages

When you say "messages" are you referring to PMs or posts?

If you are referring to posts then those actions are Moderator actions. There is no facility for Admins or Moderators to access PMs

and by forcing a user to get a new cookie all changes made to the site should be immediately visible to the user?
The only think that changing the cookie forces on a user is to log in again - it has no affect on any changes.

It's not a color, this is why is hard to reach.
It's a Gradient, lines 321-325
It makes no difference as to whether it is a gradient or not the inspector in the browser's developer tools will show you exactly which line of which file it is coming from.

Re: [RC][3.2] Image Hosting 1.2.0

May you change extension's name? It has the same name (Image Upload) of official Postimage extension (https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/postimage/) It should not create any problems unless they both use the same names for variables (but that can happen with any extension) as they both ha...

if you click on the delete cookies button it should delete all cookies related to your board from your browser.
That is not strictly correct as it will only delete cookies that are in the phpBB format, any other cookies, such as Viglink or added by some extensions, will not be deleted.

Re: [3.2][RC] Show phpBB Events (for extension developers)

@martti

I think there is a minor bug when in ACP.

If I am in ACP > Users & Groups > Manage users and select a user which will take me to the "Overview" page and then select "Show" from your extension when the page reloads it takes me back to the select user page.

As I say not a major problem

I like the idea but it shouldn't stay there indefinetely. 3 or max 5 seconds would suffice,
Without digging into the code I suspect that it would be simple matter of increasing the redirect time

In fact if I am not mistaken I think that there is something along those lines in the "Ideas"

So if you are running it on you local PC then you just need to increase the runtime in your php.ini file.

I've been looking into it and I dug up two things that might be useful for this... Thoughts?

No you haven't - those instructions are for phpBB 3.0 and will not work with phpBB 3.2
