Re: Is there a particular reason for old jQuery version? Safe to replace?

I might be wrong here but I think I read somewhere that some of the JQuery code that is in use with phpBB is incompatible with later versions and needs to be re worked. Also if phpBB does not need any of the new features in JQuery then there is little need to upgrade it - although that may not neces...

Re: Save attachments on a remote server

A search of the CDB would have shown you that there is such an extension - https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/aws_s3/

Re: [3.1][3.2][RC] Twig Converter

Of course, if something tiny should go wrong it may be a little harder to troubleshoot, but since the extension uses phpBB core to convert anyway, I think chances of that happening are low...? Unless there is something in an extension that does not convert then you may not know which extension is c...

GoogleBot is directed to forum pages via sitemap
As there is no "sitemap" in phpBB I would suggest you ask your question at the place where you got your sitemap

Re: DB Backup Scheduler

the last insert commands are for phpbb_zebra. Perhaps if a comment line was added like #end phpBBbackup you could then have cron.php grab the last line of the last backup to check for that line Now we’re talking!! But what would happen if an extension added another table after _zebra (unlikely I kn...

What does CloudFlare have anything to do with this?
Everything. Have you read the latest update? - if not I suggest you do and then maybe you will reassess the use of Cloudflare

Re: Hide Birthdays if no birthday

disable and uninstall both extensions and then reinstall them the other way around. install the hide birthdays one first then install the anniversery one see if that solves the problem. The order in which extensions are installed has no relevance on the order in which they are run - in fact the off...

I am having hard time to run phpBB 3.2.2 (patched ofcourse) with PHP 7.2.2, won't run at all (infinite loop).
I may be wrong but I thought that you needed 3.3 to run PHP 7.2.2

I have no idea what you are asking for, and in any event what you are implying has nothing to do with Administrators but is a Moderator action.

Re: [Discuss] [Security] phpBB 3.2.2 Packages Compromised

In view of the latest announcement of the cause of the problem it strikes as yet another reason to avoid Cloudflare at all costs - what other issues have there been that users may not have been aware of? What other problems may there be waiting to happen?

Re: Hello Again

I am hoping things have not changed to drastically since I last played with the forum software Well yes and no. Since you last used phpBB, which would appear to be version 3.0, phpBB has undergone a major upgrade to version 3.2 (via 3.1) - the most significant change being that MODs are not used an...

Re: MCP 1 post waiting for approval

The only time I have seen this is when a post is deleted before it is approved/disapproved and the way I found to fix it, there may be other ways, was to actually edit the database - but I would only recommend doing that if you are sure of what you are doing and you have a backup.
