Re: Question about forum on php

I would also point out that asking for money to provide medical advice from unqualified people is illegal in some countries.

I am guessing that you have no medical qualifications otherwise you would not be adopting this approach.

Re: PHPbb 3.2 doesnot accept paragraphs

Using a blank line to indicate the start of a paragraph, as opposed to indenting the first line, has been normal business practice for many years - you only need one or the other.

How do I show my forums in cache then?
No idea as I don't know how it works. Google will probably be a better resource as it is their system.

Re: Google SERP view as Cache

The "This Board Has No Forums" message usually means that permissions are incorrect.

will it affect SEO ranking
You will have to ask Google that, but I would say probably

Obviously, but if you can tell what those reasons are we will be in a better position to help you. If you don't want to give your reasons and have help, then fine - but you will be on your own.

is the Q&A for preventing bots registration available in 3.2.2?
Yes

A white page is generally an indication of a suppressed PHP error - check you server error logs for possible causes.

Re: table_column_exists

Why would you want it? If you are creating an extension then you would normally be adding your own column and if you need a column that another extension has created (very dangerous practice) then you check if the extension is installed.

So how do you handle a thousand subscribers?
martti wrote:

A threshold can be defined in ACP of the maximum number of subscribers to be shown. Above this number only the number is shown. (To be set if there is a performance issue).

Re: BBCode

In phpBB 3.2 the BBCode engine was totally change due in part to the "old" one not being compatible with PHP7. Many phpBB 3.1 custom BBCodes will not work with the new engine without some modification. There are many topics on this board about the problems with BBCodes so I would suggest that you do...

Is it not possible to install the equivalent mod in the new version, and retrieve the old data?
phpBB 3.2 does not use MODs - it uses extensions.

You will need to search the extension fora to see what is available to suit your needs and if there is an upgrade path from the old MOD.
