Re: About RSS feeds

There is a feed, but it is empty.
Check the feed configuration in your ACP.

It may sound stupid, is your feed still set to Enabled?
Otherwise, please paste the feed config page here.

Re: Atom Feeds Potential Security Issue

Internet caching is exactly one major privacy issue. Search engines are famous for it. Removing content or making content inaccessable does not imply that data is removed from the many caching sites. Your private photos on social media are not gone for good after you have deleted them. The same is t...

Re: Feed not working

The last forum selection part says Exclude these forums, this is to EXCLUDE forums, you have EXCLUDED everything!
De-select everything there again and Apply.

Re: FAQ: phpBB ATOM feed

I am not really sure what you want and how, SMF and Craigslist are unknown to me, besides to what I just Googled. What I can explain is that the standard phpBB Atom feed feature does generate an Atom feed (not RSS) of a phpBB forum. This Atom feed can be displayed by any Atom feed reader. The standa...

Re: FAQ: phpBB ATOM feed

How on earth can you display a user's feed. So that you can subscribe to the RSS intel of a specific user only. I wanted to do that so that specific users have their posts auto published to twitter via twitterfeed.... I have an experimental version of Simple Syndication where you can create a RSS o...

Re: FAQ: phpBB ATOM feed

URL's shall usually be treated automatically or by using the proper bb code, both in posts as in the feed. Valid URL's will be treated as link automatically, if completely specified, such as (the next is entered as plain text): http://www.website.test Otherwise use the proper bb code, such as: [url=...

Re: FAQ: phpBB ATOM feed

The only way out is to find a feed reader application that supports authentication.

Re: phpBB ATOM feed issue

You may have a look directly into the database, but only if you are experienced in that and just to see what topic titles are stored in the database (I guess those will match with what is shown in the feed). E.g. start MySql and select your board database. Select the "posts" table and look at the "p...

Re: phpBB ATOM feed issue

It is strange though, the feed actually has nothing to do with what ever style, it read directly from the database.
So, it looks like that the database is not filled correctly, using a defult style and look at the individual post titles may help to isolate te problem.

Re: phpBB ATOM feed issue

I think your Style Mod makes the feed confused. Looking at the actual post you refer to: http://www.flatpanels.dk/flatforum/viewtopic.php?t=28649&p=183872#p183872 I notice it starts with a quote from else, which probably causes a change in the post title. I believe you run in a modded style issue, i...

Re: phpBB ATOM feed issue

Both feed.php and syndication.php do generate a valid, correct and complete feed when opened in Internet Explorer, Firefox and NewsFox. With the topic titles and all. Validation is succesful, paste the URL here: http://validator.w3.org/feed/ "Re:" is added because some feed items are a Reply. Too ba...

Re: phpBB ATOM feed issue

I believe the feed is ok, the feed source code looks ok. Opening the feed in a browser looks ok: http://www.flatpanels.dk/flatforum/feed.php The only problem is that I can't understand Danish ;-) If there is a topic missing, it may be the result of people deleting it in their reply. Compare the feed...
