Re: [3.2][RC] Modern quote - multiquote and quote highlighted text

Can you post a screenshot and place an arrow at which button you clicked?

Also, have you installed the latest version of Modern Quote from Github?

Re: Upload class failing to upload file.

I see several issues: - You can't use superglobals like $_POST and such - You check for $_POST['picupload'] that isn't in the form - request_var() is replaced by the $request class - You use your own $conn class instead of injecting $dbal and your query is subject to SQL injection - You switch only ...

Re: Force Forum Changes To Display Without Clearing Browser Cache?

You can force recompiling style components in ACP -> Load settings. But be aware: it's a major performance hit.

Better just update to 3.2.3.

Re: Ignore specified forums from statistics

In what way doesn't it work?
Is there just nothing happening, do you get errors, a blank page, is the world exploding? ;)

Also, isn't the forum permission "Increment post counter" enough for your purpose?

You can change your cookie name.
That does nothing with cached CSS of course.

@aeneas1: which version of phpBB do you use? 3.2.1 and above usually provide for this by forcing the assets version.

Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

may be it would help to rename the automatic update. To "experts update"? That's because it's a blast from the past. It was introduced in 3.0 and was a huge improvement compared to the "May the force be with you"-updates in the 2.0 era. It automated the detecting and merging of changes so the namin...

Like lumpy Burgertushie wrote: people don't use search engines to search for URL's. If you know the URL you just put that in the address bar. Re: The Question Has to Be Asked ...

The use case that Marco describes is just one example of this, there are many more. That's not very specific of course. And actually, I think nobody really knows. I guess the best approach would be to actually measure the amount of downloads for the automatic update package against the full package...

Re: [3.2][RC] Avatar Resize on upload

I understand, but I think it will produce unexpected results when images are arbitrarily cropped.I think it would be better to resize your example to 160x80px. It that's not to the user's liking, he or she can just crop it to their wishes on their computer/phone.
