Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

Also when there is a line space in the feed, there is posted 3 line spaces in the topic. Yeah, that's because they apply newlines ( \n ) together with linebreaks ( <br> ). Feedpostbot translates those linebreaks to newlines and all the newlines are translated to linebreaks again by phpBB when posti...

Re: [3.2][RC] cmBB - Simple Content Management for phpBB

Look into the ACP -> Extension tab -> cmBB settings. You'll find a link there to start writing your first article. Once your have your first article public, a menu bar will appear (if not disabled) with all the relevant links.

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

Ger, any chance to reduce the entries in the admin log? Just recognized today, that for every feed fetch (even when it has no new data) a new entry in the log is written. That's on purpose, since many people wonder why no new items are posted. It depends on the cron (phpBB cron isn't like system cr...

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

Changed both in the latest version on github Thanks :) The german translation from a previous post in this topic had not the correct folder name, because it was written the formal version of german language and therefore it should be in a folder de-x-sie instead of de . I used that file as a base t...

Re: [3.2][RC] cmBB - Simple Content Management for phpBB

Than probably your folder structure isn't correct. The path should be ./ext/ger/cmbb/* with all the subfolders and files there.

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

AFAIK, this isn't language-dependent, just like PHP, HTML, CSS etc. aren't. Why would this need to be parsed as language vars? Because it needs to able to be translatable for non Latin languages such as Arabic which use r to l - if a language does not translate them them it does not matter I think ...

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

I need to look into it to make sure all (or most) "attached" images are processed, so I need to do some investigating. No problem, I can wait - in fact I will be away for the next six weeks so that gives you plenty of time ;) Yet you are indicated as online now :P It turned out that the images actu...

As always: can you provide an example I can work with?

It seems it has namespaced images as a separate parameter. That wouldn't have been processed earlier. Images that are embedded with regular HTML img tags are still processed.

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

I have one feed which is a FB page fed via FetchRSS. This works fine not a problem as such. Before you changed the feed to use namespace this feed also brought in images now it does not - the images are there in FetchRSS. I took a quick look through the code and as far as I can see it should still ...

I don't speak Spanish so I cannot take responsibility for it. If you are willing to publish and maintain the Spanish translation that would be great and I'll l...

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

I notice that you have added a lock to this version. I tried this once and there is a possibility that it can cause problems if you have a situation where the job does not complete for some reason then you can end up with the system locked - I would suggest that you either have an "unlock" button o...

Re: [3.2][RC] Feed post bot

I have three feeds set up and when I look at the Admin log after the feeds have been fetched the username of the first feed is that of the user who invoked the cron job (which is what I would expect), but the subsequent feed entries use the username of the user who is set in the ACP as the Feed use...
