Go to your ACP, click on the General tab, then go down to FAQ Manager and on that screen, right next to where it says "Read default language files into FAQ database:" Click Submit. Worked like a charm for me.
Thanks for covering the support :)

Re: Convert WordPress Site into phpBB forum

Note upfront: this won't be pretty :P But I think there might be a solution. If you setup wordpress RSS feeds and make sure you include the complete text in the RSS feed, you can than import those feeds into your board using the Feed Post Bot . You can setup different feeds per category and import t...

Re: functions_content.php changes not applied

It might be easier to do this with a little jQuery function that you can add to your template: <script> $(function(){ // prevent conflicts $(".postlink").filter(function () { return this.hostname && this.hostname !== location.hostname; }).each(function () { $(this).attr('rel', 'nofollow'); }); }); <...

Re: Converting from IPB 3.4.6, users amount converted not completely

To add to this, I wrote earlier: That's probably due to the function remove_invalid_users() in ./includes/functions_convert.php that's called after the users have been converted. It basically removes any user that has an empty username_clean . That value is generated after encoding the original IPB ...

Re: Converting from IPB 3.4

My remaining issue is: The phpbb_users only have 780 converted from IPB 3.4.6 ibf_members that have 1724. Not whole ipb members convert to phpBB users. That's probably due to the function remove_invalid_users() in ./includes/functions_convert.php that's called after the users have been converted. I...

Re: Converting from IPB 3.4

To fix the size error, you should add the following code after this line : $size = ($size > 200) ? 200 : $size; About the Chinese characters: IIRC I've hardcoded the convertor to migrate from ISO-8859 to UTF-8 since that way I could skip a lot of sniffing, gaining performance for my board. You can s...

Re: [3.2][BETA] Image Redirect

The user's browser then requests the image from the secure proxy which accesses the original hosting server and re-serves the content on-the-fly using the https:// protocol. I understand which problem(s) this extensions wants to resolve and I guess the vast majority of users want/love it. But pract...

The ancient 2.0 versions of phpBB cannot read the "newest version" properly. You can see the same message here on my own old board:
How can anyone read that? :?

Re: phpBB versions question

The message that I provided in my original post is a message that the phpBB software reports when I log into the admin panel. It clearly says: "The latest available version is phpBB 7.2.0. You are running phpBB 2.0.21." The phpBB software is generating this I think. I do not know why the php instal...

Re: [3.2][RC] Modern quote - multiquote and quote highlighted text

As I was writing this morning, I have already started to adapt Modern Quote to RAVAIO. So, I've already created ./ext/ger/modernquote/styles/ravaio/ . No matter with template events or CSS ;) But I stumble on javascript :? Do you have any idea how to modify this line of modernquote.js var quote_url...
