Re: [3.2][BETA] Autorespond to new topic

It's just a reply you can set per forum. So when a regular user posts a new topic, a predefined user will respond with a standard message you set in the ACP.

Re: quote - click to expander

Not exactly what you've asked, but I added a small CSS snippet to prevent large quote blocks:

Code: Select all

blockquote {
    max-height: 300px;
    overflow-y: auto;
}
This sets the maximum height to 300px (you can set that to whatever you like of course) and shows a scroll bar to let the user view everything.

Re: Edit existing FAQ for 3.2

Well, it wasn't as easy as I first thought it would be. Especially deleting and sorting the FAQ proved difficult. I threw all that in the bin and started over with a new approach. It's way too rough to publish now, but expect a topic in Extension dev within a couple of days. @david63; what are your ...

It seemed I freed a DB result a bit too early. Is fixed now.

Re: Best approach: Rewrite all IMG-Urls after HTML is build

If it's just about adding a timestamp to an URL, can't you do it with a few lines of Javascript?

Re: Best approach: Rewrite all IMG-Urls after HTML is build

Can't you simply use either of core.text_formatter_s9e_render_before or core.text_formatter_s9e_render_after? That's handled when a post is displayed.

Re: [3.2][RC] Modern quote - multiquote and quote highlighted text

First, when using the floating quote and you select text which contains smilies, they are only part of the quote when using FireFox. Chrome/Opera do not consider the smilies. Yeah that's simply a limitation from the browsers. Even though the smiley code is provided as alt text, several browsers jus...

YES! I am setting up a basic family forum for my family and I forgot about this limitation.. Would be nice to auto resize it to fit!
You can try my extension, only needs a tiny edit in a core file as described there.

jQuery may be dropped in favour of another framework
Who thinks this is a smart move? To me it's like saying "Bush should be dropped in favour to Trump" - it won't solve anything.

Yep, you have to create an index once and then each new post is added to the index automatically.

Re: ATOM RSS Feed Errors Out

I have no clue about how Godaddy runs things, so you should refer to them.
Usually when you edit your php.ini you have to restart your server (apachte/nginx) to let the changes take effect.

If that doesn't work, you really need to start filling in the support request template.
